wow so... its a butane nailer? thats cool.... makes sense they would rent those and not pneumatic nailers.

hows its rate? lol does it get hot?
i have a hitachi NR90. it was only 200 bucks tax included. my compressor is a makita hot dog "mac" something, another 200 bucks, so consider a pneumatic system should you be tempted into buying your own nailers.

I rented the pneumatic one with the compressor first when i replaced a couple plywood boards on the primary shed.

U get 1200 shots out of the cart and its battery powered.

But still weighing out the differences on the 2

Cordless has a little filter and cleaning maintance

But if I had the dough I would of bought one of them.

Short on cash need to keep it to a minimum.

This is what I bought when I rented the framing gun.

So I bought 2 fuel cans and a box of 3 in exterior nails.

When I rented the gun it came with a fuel can. I used it and when I went to return it the girl ask me if I had 2 battery's and I said no. They only gave me 1. Then I told her if I can have my fuel can back and she said I can have it because I purchased it. When in reality it was in the gun when they tested it out. So got a free can and it still has gas left in it. Let's see if I can do what I need to do before it runs out. Then I can return the 2 that I had bought.

Hard choice though if I was going to buy either cordless or pneumatic.

Cordless is good but pneumatic you have different option on what tool use.

Or just say fuck it cordless and buy a compressor to have it anyways. Which is something to have @ home if you are a DIY person.

When I rent the gun again I will post pics of it.

This took me a while To cut the birds mouth with the circular saw.

The ridge cut was with the circular saw

So I broke out the oscillating tool. Made the cut easier.

This is just a template to cut the rafters.

Mark em and cut.

Clean slab

Need to seal the cracks and holes on the bottom of the shed.

What should I grab
The exterior wall is a cement finish I can't find it at the depot.

Going to look at cement fillers

the stucco or what ever that is should not run directly into the concrete, its going to pick up moisture and pull it up into the cement backer board destroying it from the bottom up.

if i were you id cut it back like 3/8" and push in a backing rod then caulk it to the slab with a good urethane sealant like sikaflex 1 part.

you could probably make the cut with a cheap angle grinder cut off disk, following a chaulk line.

you can caulk directly onto what you have right now, but the areas still in contact with the slab will continue to pull moisture from the slab, and continue to rot and decay.

do it the proper way if you want this thing to last 5+ years.

do it the wrong way if you want it to last 1+ years.
