Great info and nice to see those type of improvements. Been thinking of getting lenses for my Vero29's just to help protect the COB surface, but this improvement is a plus!

Did you notice any change in light penetration down into the canopy?

Your welcome mate, anytime, glad i can provide some helpful info.

Installing Lenses is a plus in every aspect, Protects the lenses from all that dust (make sure to give the lense area clean with a 70/30 Distilled water/iso propyl alcohol mix before installing the lenses, as all the dust stuck the silicon area of the lense aint a good thing, or even abit of distilled water with a microfibre cloth will do the job). Another good thing, you cant burn yourself on the COB area with lenses (temps can hover around 150c, wattage dependent).

Big difference in canopy penetration, Lovely thing about lenses is positioning the lights just right so the higher colas are not directly under the panels but inbetween the 2 panels (Where the beams from both panels/COBS cross) about 10 - 8 inches above the highest cola's. All the lower buds still get a good showering of quality COB light (resin production is still there in the lower buds).

Very nice, and the lights in that area is a overkill, Way to much.

I run 300watts (8x vero29's) in a 1m x 1m space and i still get bleaching.

I made a frame for my last 4 cobs in flower to clean things up a bit. I also installed two 6500K Citizen CLU048-1212s in veg, driven by a MeanWell ELG-150-C2100B (2x75W). That's probably the last changes for a while

Very nice cabinet sixixix. How do those CLU048-1212's like running at 75 watts each? (Provided I'm reading that right). I thought I read they worked best at or just below 50 watts.

Been a while since Ive spent much time here on IC... Some pics of my lil Gavita Slayer....

20 Cree 3590 3500k CD bin's, Khatod 90deg silicone lenses, 5 meanwell Hlg-320-2100b's remote mounted with central dimmer. Wagos inside junction boxes for connections. Twin AC feeds. Each bar has a custom 14awg pigtail, fully soldered and sealed with heat shrink that is then soldered to the green jacketed 14awg line from the drivers, also sealed with shrink. 1600w..... 1038ppfd over a 6x6.

Sorry for the jacked driver board pic. Garden shots are from the first run. First is on 10/25, second is 11/27. Cob's stomp HPS.
