Thanks for the clarifications. I do understand the tent heat issues. Seems like they get to a certain point, and then it does not take much to put them over the limit for healthy grow temps.

Three lights here, all are 50w per cob, two are 200 w veg and bloom lights, the third is just single passive 50w cxb3590. The bloom has Far red leds, deep red and IR all timed. The Veg has royal blue added leds. the 50w passive are for everything else. The cxa is 200w with hlg-185-C1400B. thecxb is 400w with two hlg-185H-C1400B, and the two passive are 50w no name drivers. peace

BL-LAMMM! I like it :D

So you have the blues and reds timed differently? Like far red for a short time to put the plants to bed? Do you have the power cords running to individual timers or do you have something like an Auduino running it all?

Nice work GM and Roasty.

Finally finished work in the plantry, got her hung and the 1st plant is underneath - a Destroyer that's been suffering for months and all bent down.

Sure. Theyre mounted topside on either side of the control box. They determined the spacing of the square stock.

Nice D. Do you know what the dissipation is for those radial fin heatsinks? They look like a good option for a restricted height grow?

they were good for about 20w of heat i think

everyone is now getting into these pin heat sinks and then hanging them horizontally, they still work but you can get the same amount of cooling from less weight using smth like these

8 USD each and good for around 25w of heat also, possibly could run a cob at 50w

this one no problem

having said that the pin style has massive surface area and they work great for that reason

pics of the upgraded lights

3x Vero29's panels, 2 panels are the front are running 100watts for 3000k and 120watts for the 5000k, Panel at the back is running at 150watts (reason why its higher than the others)
picture.php

I find by placing the newly flowering plants under the 5000k for the first 4 weeks and then moving them tot he 3000k lights works a treat, Due to it becoming summer i've removed the 4000k panel which runs at 120watts

Lights off

5th Element d51 flowering (60 - 70 day strains)

Lights need to be atleast 25 - 30 inches above the plants or i get bleaching, no matter what the cab temps are.

Happygrowing, peace.
