Needs to be dark bro....you will start to get all kinds of horrible problems that I dont even wanna go into. Make sure its colored.
Can i spray paint it and what color do you prefer
Having trouble with my cloner 33 gallon tub petco mag 300 pump 12 ezclone misters (red)ro water, power clone solution, h202 I'm on day9 see 1 out of 66 with root bumps am I just being impatient? How fine does the spray mist need to be? Just put on a 30/30 on-off timer going to get a 15/15 today. Some starting to turn yellow. First time cloner any imput?
Oh yea Tempe steady at 75
thanks folks, glad it's helpin.
cheers Sinful, yeah people complain of the heat of the large pumps in the ez cloner 60... just buy the 350gph model 3 pump (petsmart.com $35) and it'll run the 60 perfect temp... and just build your own 120 site with the pump you have from the old 60! it's the same one in the 60 and 120 do just build your own pvc in a huge tub, get the misters and neoprenes and save $300. best o luck buddy, lemme know if i can help anymore anytime man
hehe wags you know it, the rubbermaids toughnecks have a nice tall lip, so the lids close over and there's no leaking at all
so bonzo snag a rubbermaid or somethin! hehe oh an benrock, these are the Mister 320 sprayers, 320 degree misters once suggested by lothar for aero tubes, got them at betterthannature.com. any 300 degree or more mister is gonna be what you want.
high ocanabis, nice one ya got there, yeah be careful with the aquarium heaters they can heat up quite a bit too much too quick... i like your sprayers, those are the rotating head ones, definitely good for small spaces and just a few clones... i'm tryina replicate a biggun here, but thanks for showin up a small system!
psuedo since you're wondering, i only had 10 netpots, so instead of waiting i used the hot glue technique... and i had used a 2 1/8" holesaw on a lid, too big, so 2" holesaw, still too big unless netpot or hot glue... so that's why i didn't get another holesaw to do 1.75" holes!
.canine. a bit more work than a bubbler faux-aero but so worth it. bubblers are too wet stems, stem submerged or not? picky temps, bad coverage, etc... very hard for pathogens to start in aero. i did get lucky once of 5 times with bubbling and got roots in 5 days... it is a bit more than just bubbler system, the most savings come from doing it large scale as the big ezcloners cost so much! i have 2 bubblers if ya want them though! ;p
hey kokua thanks for the idea, you're not the first to suggest it, so it must be a nice trick, i'll definitely cut the bottom half off of the 2" netpots i have, the roots are already all through them though... i may go to all that method if i get to the store, BGGDW did the same and so did others, ya guys are way ahead of me, so thanks for sharin the tip i'll add it in
peace n green thumbs as always folks
If your water pump doesn't have threads, you can use one of the quick-connect 1/2" fittings to connect some polytube to the pvc. Male or female depends on how you thread the manifold together.Hey king ralph, does your pump have a threaded outlet? i went to home depot and noticed all the female adaptors are threaded and my pump outlet is not. How to you get the 1/2" connector to fit tightly on the pump outlet? did you glue and then seal with silicone?
Hey bro, what size tote are you working with there and how far from the top does the manifold sit? Does it actually spray out of the tote when you have the lid off?I actually shortened my main tube to move it further away. This way the stems were getting a finer mist and the underside of the lid was much less wet which reduced my leaking.
