I agree, vitamins aren't able to be taken up by the root because of the casparian strip, the molecules are too large to enter the cell wall for a symplastic pathway. Vitamins could potentially benefit colonies of soil micro-organisms which could result in benefits to support plant health. Some people swear by superthrive, the old timers at the local garden center recommend using it.

Application of vitamin B-1 (thiamine) to root systems of whole plants does not stimulate root growth.
This myth arose from early work on plant growth regulators, called auxins, which were mixed with vitamin B-1.

ok got one, im currently working on this type stuff
The kelp is also we know beneficial

The 50 vitamins and minerals are most likely due to kelp extract
