Probably by the time those sell out I'll be releasing mine about 2 months from now since everyone and their grandmother is asking me for them - I haven't talk to seedbay about this just waiting until their done before I make any promises

The hype is because DC is a PURE ghani collected before Afghanistan was invaded by the soviets, and then preserved/inbred in Cali by Tom Hill. Very few pure ghanis have survived decades of invasion/war on drugs, and this one is probably the best example of a classic ghani. Pure strains in general are becoming harder to find.

It grows slow (so not much use to most), but being so inbred, it is extremely desirable breeding material for those who wish to use it as a building block for another strain.

Ahh makes sense i ran some khalisis seeds from a breeder on here that were made from a pure ghani called jihad really great plants ...now ill sit back and watch

Monkey Balls isn´t a selected Strain it´s still Deep Chunk IBL by T.Hill.

Yes, i already saved me a few packs! And i hope a lot of other people doing the same. Hope we will never see such extreme prices for DC seeds anymore, like it happened in the past!

The price are stable, and the price is the same as i know from a friend in the US. Same as here...

Mhh, i've only see them on Seedbay in the Past, and there the price was pretty high. I've googled everywhere but wasn't able to find them from a other source. We have a Deep Chunk Core Cut in Vienna, but it isnt the real deal, it's DCxC99.

Yes yes ^^^^ update weeks 6 flower, I am now running a 600w HPS 2000k & a small LED 86w just for a little extra light & spectrum. Seeds are forming but it's hard to tell in the pix.
The smell isn't too strong i'm not even running my carbon scrubber but it does smell just doesn't reek as strong as i thought i remember.

This is the plant i didn't pollinate in a few weeks this golf ball nug will be ready to tee off

With seed, if its heavily seeded, half the budmass ends up seed, you then have half the bud there in mass to smell/stink as you would in the same space normally? But also I find the best potential of a plants terpines off well fed seeded plants as it seems to me they squeeze extra goodies out to protect the seed that is forming..So you may be in for some stinkies, just not now as the energy has gone to seedset. In a week they will be stinkier than ever, I hope haha.. I found the best quality of aromatics of hash off lets say clones of the same plant, came from greenhouse weed that was seeded reasonably, in a soil with loads of pig manure, sand, lime and compost and not much else and just watered..Those buds and hash off my mamma was still the best after all these years and other runs of her. Rub a leaf of your girls and then you might see. Temps play a role, too hot and plants go into survival mode and close pores and don't make much resin and terps evaporate away, too cold I find less production too.

Looking good though bro Maybe your airflow is just more dialed now..thats why you can't smell em..My last girls, I thought the same, until I went outside next door to them where it was venting, haha was stinking up the neighborhood, tastes the same as always, like home! But not as good as that one batch of seeded bud did years ago, that takes the cake.

Good job so far and thank you for preserving Deep Chunk! I was able to grow A Pineapple Chunk the beginning of the year and she was a fine lady. But I lost her to them damn bugs.

If that girl above with the golf ball sized nug is that mocha pheno you love so much. I gotta say she looks mighty fine haha. The color of her leaves look like theyre almost black! Im suprised that even those seeded plants look FROSTY AS FUCK since theyre using alot of energy to make those babies!

Im gonna put up a chair to watch these girls.. Did you mix the pollen you collected from those males? I wonder how the pheno variation will be with the next set of seeds?

Makes since, They really smell when i turn off the fan I keep it going 24/7 so that i don't get any mold cause with these rock hard flowers it easily will mold up & it helps keep smell down i have fresh air coming in through a window then exhaust out into an mini attic space that vents out to the side of the house, I remember now that the last time i grew these the air was just recycling with in the room so that would make them reek as well. And your defenately right i rub against the plants or start moving them around & it reeks up the whole house

I also want to point out the type of smell i'm getting from these girls now the best way to put it is burnt coffee/incense & dark hash
even my unseeded girl is morphing into this, they are simular to some afghans ive grown but nothing exactly like it a bit unique. I really enjoy the smell it's not nauseating it's quite pleasant.

I did mix the pollen from all the males yes, I hope to find more vigor about half the females were crawlers 4/6 males had good vigor in comparison while in veg, should see some more purpling phenos as 4/6 males seem to be sensitive to cold & got some purpling easily so hopefully there will be some hidden gems to be found.

Wicked nice looking plants man. I like the second pic and last one the most. That second pic looks like it's letting the "spider bud" expression show a little bit. Love the super thick resin rails on the bud leaves. Gotta be good for extractions.

If that was accidently put outside, then you should "accidently" put a couple more girls outside haha. She looks beautiful bro. For some reason I sometimes think that they put out more resin/trichomes to try to protect themselves from the cold.

I cant wait for these girls to be done and for you to release the genetics for some of us who couldnt afford what they threw these out at years ago. Awesome job homie
