Deepchunk on the rise

Thanks everyone!

I took that black deepchunk down its now curing smells like the cedar pheno i had last time i grew these out it also turned black i call it...Black Cedar pheno lol i left alot of leaf on since it was so frosty but its very little yield cause i put it outside late into the season but i got a few grams so it's all good.

So last weekend i had to skip the update i lost internet service for a week by the time i got it back it was middle of the week so i decided to put it off til today, lots of pix to post
I hope you all enjoy them!

Gotta love em' all, they're so pretty...That black cedar pheno is ridiculous, what a good bud structure for a chunk ! Good job mate.

I do love them all it's hard not to lol, 2 phenos stand out to me the most is the one I didn't pollinate which I've seen in cannacopias DC hybrid line and the 3rd pic is just so frosty a real nice hash plant

Wow man, First I gotta say that, that 1st pic is Top of the line beautiful!! Even the 2nd pic of the last post looks like some serious stuff! Have the smells changed at all?

Oh man 40$ at most would be a god send. I would definitely be able to grab a pack, maybe even 2 If i just get my workers comp check when theyre released haha!!. No more then that though, because I would want every1 who wants a pack to be able to get 1. I understand why people hoard genetics, but its stupid if they dont even germinate a couple seeds. Then 2-5 years later and even if they store them right, most of the time they have low germination rates. I dont mean to offend anyone or want to start a discussion here about hoarding genetics or anything like that. I just had to say my peace lol.

Thanks Dakine Deepchunk is one of the most beautiful plants ive grown i just love those huge wide leaves, The smell is pretty much the same i guess, when the exhaust fan & light is off as a whole they all smell just like mocha smells up the room but smelling individual plants seperate it varies from pine bark/moss/cedar wood/earth/incense/dark hash/cocoa a lot of people say the incense smell is like frankincense.

I want everyone that is on a budget be able to get a pack but theres other reasons i want to keep the price low. I keep my beans in the fridge it's 40*F i get anywhere between 6-10 years before the seeds start to loose their germ % but it varies from strain to strain. There's a few strains i'm hording that aren't around anymore but i plan on getting them going soon & making a ton more to preserve & most likely put out as well.

Well time for the update i didn't take the best pix i'm fighting a stomach flu bug & it's difficult moving plants around & snapping shots n stuff so next time i'll do better.

unseeded DC actually its lightly seeded with grape krush x GDP on the bottom two buds

had to trim some upper leaves so that the light could get down to the lower buds

Very nice strain you have there!

The DC you grew would have been from the same batch that im growing now in all the pix. DC is a very unique strain for sure ive grown many other afghans & theres none quite like it ive grown a few that look just like it but different in every other aspect.
Feel free to post your DC hybrids if you like

Well at least they all smell really good! That's a pretty long time for those seeds to stay viable.. I understand the concept of saving genetics, but not hoarding and not planning on popping any in the ground in the future lol..

Man that purple pheno looks good but for some reason I'm liking the other Phenos even more! That's very true though,DC is a very beautiful plant, broad dark leafs with some damn good photogenic flowers! What are you feeding them right now?

i got colour from them even there was no cold..r i cant find pics the buds were very incensy.. with mild stone. but i believe there are phenos with hammer effect im sure..

What are you feeding them right now?

water.....their growing in happy frog soil i was adding 2 drops of superthrive per gallon but stopped a couple weeks ago, I PH the water to around 7.0 i like to just keep things simple.

Yeah some phenos are just a mild relaxing stone there are a few phenos that are potent with a heavy turn your lights out stone too the black cedar pheno i had last time was real heavy on the mind & body it's a little bit of a pheno hunt.

great pix how long did you veg that DC for?

i vegged it for two months form seed i think but if it would be in bigger pot i bet it would be bigger.

i guess its same with all seed lines from Tom Hill, you have to find keepers in your environment and then make your own line and crosses with it. the type of breeder i need

Nice Maha kala I did same left them in 1 gallon pots for too long if i up potted sooner they would have been bigger they like a lot of root space i need to try dwc with DC someday.

TIMBER! they are coming down, i chopped 5 so far 4 seeded plants & 1 unseeded, already collected a few beans still have a few weeks for them to dry & i can seperate the seeds & collect the rest.Not sure how many seeds i'll get doesn't really look like i'll get a lot which is odd.

Several plants were sensitive to cold leaves turned black & purpling buds temps were in the upper 60's F when the lights were off, typical afghan with rock hard nugs, the smell while chopping is incense/musky/ moss/cedar wood/burnt coffee bean.

bigups icon, great thread and grow show... i've got some deep chunks getting about breeding age also.... making more chunk ibls and crossing it by a bunch of similarly very indica strains.
