It's quite possible that plenty of things travel faster than the speed of light.
I mean, how the hell would we know?!

Sure things travel faster than the speed of light. If a car in going at the speed of light and somebody tuns on the headlights, then what is that? Huh?....Huh?

Depends on where you are viewing from.
It's all relative.:tiphat:

Well it occurs to me that at this point in time we'll soon be seeing a flood of people who grew up in the hippie generation, when everyone was smoking marijuana, into retirement and the age when these things that marijuana may help with usually present themselves.

Because of medical work like the Madrid study, which found (one more time) that Cannabis is "actinogenic" (naturally fights cancer, might be messing up the spelling)
http://www.alternet.org/story/9257/pot_shrinks_tumors%3B_government_knew_in_'74

then you would see clusters of pot users, with lower cancer rates.

That's one of the big Holy Grail's of American medicine ("cure for cancer").

I wonder how much the cancer statistics of pot-using communities has been explored, inside or outside academia.

relative?
Even use billhilly have read a little Al Einstein.

The photons will exit the headlamps at the speed of light, relative to the car.

If you point a laser at a star, then point it at another star 9 light years from the first target, relative to you, it seems like a fraction of a second and an absolutely straight line.
Relative to a distant observer, it is entirely different!
That's enough for an active mind to think on for years, yah?

"then you would see clusters of pot users, with lower cancer rates."

Which is exactly what they found when they tracked lung health in tobacco/ganja/non smokers.

Even tobacco smokers had healthier lungs IF, they also smoked cannabis.
That study made me very happy. :)
