You have to wonder about planned civil unrest (as in ginned up, NOT spontaneous), and I have been doing a lot of 'wondering' lately with what I've seen recently with the whole BLM movement.
I was still living in Balto. when the Freddie Gray riots broke out in Spring of 2015.
The Mayor of the city was a youngish Black female Democrat who caught a lot of flak for allowing the riots to happen at all.
The riots were very de$tructive but didn't last that long and were quickly ended by the establishment of a 10 PM curfew, etc.
The Mayor said she 'let' the riots occur because peeps needed to let off some steam.
...... anyhow, a sh*t load of flak decended on the poor woman because the year before at the annual meeting of alla the city mayors in the US, it was decided that NO RIOTING would be allowed in ANY of the cities, and would be quickly and forcefully quelled before it got started.
So if it was decided in 2014/15 that riots would not be allowed to occur, what has changed so dramatically in only 5 yrs. that riots/destruction are now allowed to go on in major cities for 3 months and those mayors say they can't stop them???
What's changed is the takeover of the Democratic party in 2016 by the highly organized BLM political movement folks.
All the cities currently experiencing riots are run by Democratic mayors and there's an election coming up.
The Dems need a platform or feel good cause to get themselves elected, something everyone can get behind (besides orange man bad) - and they knew that sometime in the Spring a Black man somewhere would die at the hands of the police and protests would be organized.
...... and we all know what comes after a protest when the weather warms up - RIOTS!:yay:
So we're in a bad place with the Covid, lots of folks out of work, the economy in a recession and rapidly heading for a serious depression, world in tatters, and the BLM political movement decides to organize the DESTRUCTION of the economic engines running the country purely for the political gain (publicity/diverting attention) of creating an issue and raising it to the top of the list of important issues needing to be solved???
...... and it's OK??? everyone's gonna fall for it and get in line???

you cannot PREVENT riots. not in prisons, or on city streets. you can try to control them, restrict them to a certain area etc, but it is impossible to stop folks from rioting if they think the situation calls for it. what is going on now is a fart in the wind compared to when Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered, or people watched Rodney King get beaten. chump is DYING to get more folks killed/injured to try & look all "law & orderish" to scare gullible folks & fire up his base...when in reality, he has less regard for the rule of law than the folks shooting fireworks & throwing water bottles.

Blaming Biden, may not be 100% accurate, unfortunately we live in a tribal time. Both sides put everything on the leader of the Tribe. Anything that the left doesn't like, is Trumps fault. Everything the right doesn't like is Biden's fault. I personally believe the left has feed the tribalism, with 4 years of hoax journalism, everyday is another hoax. Most are debunked within 48 hours. No retractions of course.
Biden has failed to emphatically call for a stop to the rioting. I understand that if Biden does, he will lose the support of his party, and the election.

Actually... lemme get this straight. There was a group of people protesting rand paul (possibly a stupid thing... i don't know... a woman was mentioned by you, but i don't really care). You say that it was an attack, because a neighbour attacked him over gardening before. And this attack shows how blm (or what ever) is full of very bad people and it's probably run by soros?
