they say its the nug size lol aka monkey balls thats the story I heard (grape-shaped dusty green nugs with fiery orange fuzzy hairs)

This unique broadleaf from Afghanistan was introduced to Northern California in the latter part of the 1970's. A fast flowering plant with thick stems, short internodes, and excellent resin production of the highest quality. The smoke is thick and full-bodied. Flavors range from skunk to Hashy pine, from grapefruit, to chocolate, to coffee.
Deep Chunk breeds true for many traits and has earned a solid reputation as a valuable tool in many breeding programs.

:wave: i have a small circle of friends that i keep in touch with about the weed world and one of my buddies in the Mid-west was talking about a strain called "Monkey Balls" he described it as having a strong sort of cat piss smell and ammonia taste. anyone heard of Monkey Balls?

somewhere Tom says the best hash-plant pheno is 1 in 100 beans best start popping (if anyone finds these links that would be great to link them)
I think he also said they were found in a hash import something like 13 seeds 1980ish ?
That was a land-race and after a open pollination I guess there was still some variation to be found
??? anyone remember this ???

Not 100% sure but I think its because he took them, pheno hunted them and F2'd them... I could be wrong though.
Not sure why they are not called Deep Chunk f2's ..That is what they are.

Remember when DNA released Toms x-18 bx and it was stated 99% indica ?
Pretty sure they called it X-18

I would consider DC a IBL inbred line f1,f2,f3,f4,f5 etc very homogeneous at this point
Inbred line means a relatively true-breeding strain resulting from at least five successive generations of controlled self-fertilization
or of backcrossing to a recurrent parent with selection, or its equivalent, for specific characteristics.
In the F1, many loci will be heterozygous (those loci which had different
gene
alleles coming from the two parents). These loci will include the gene of interest as well as many other loci containing genes for other traits. With
backcrossing
, homozygosity for the alleles from the
recurrent parent
will increase at the same rate as is seen with the approach to
homozygosity
with selfing (one form of
inbreeding
). The formula for calculating this rate is given below:

And as far as I know,Deep Skunk 9 is Monkey Balls x North Indian Indica,and Tarantula is Monkey Balls x Deep Skunk 9

That sucks man, sorry to hear your loss. I agree the whole thing is a joke. Technically I guess, people are not supposed to get or send any seeds or agricultural products of any kind, let alone cannabis seeds. I fully agree though, it is a joke.
