Wow. Do they really have a virus going around?
I really wanted a couple of the 10k phenol hunt for moms to try out... But i cab risk losing my genetics.
Last year i got some clones from them that started slow. Just runty. But after they finally got going, the clones i got off that mom raged.

Yeah a lot of people have reported this “runty” short squat plant formation w small leaves. I can only speak to the cuts ive purchased and the ones i listed all had dudded and non dudded cuts. I havent seen any duds since my first run of gg4 in like 2014 or something. Not a single thing i have run in 5 years has done this until i grabbed cuts from dhn. Thankfully the problem did not spread. If that happened id be out for blood. Im already pissed i gave them my money.

That's unfortunate to hear. I've been wondering why less dispensaries have been carrying their clones lately. I did pick up a Venom OG clone from their newest retail partner in Seaside the other day, and most of the clones looked read sad. I only bought one, just for the genetics, and will prolly end up using it as a cross for some virus free beans.

Damn, I got a sour diesel and venom og on veg mode. Might toss em. I dont want any problems.

OP

I think they're worth running once. I've run their cuts off and on for years, and haven't had any real issues. Some of my GG4 cuts of cuts from them years ago did end up dudding after multiple generations of cuts, but when I got it from them originally it was fine for a few runs.

If it ended up dudding, it aint right. My gg4 that was clean never dudded in 5+ years. Same w all my keepers. It aint right!:cry:

Yeah, good point. I heard the GG4 was very susceptible to the dudding virus. Makes me wonder how long that virus sticks around, and how curable & contagious it is.

I've been growing a cut of Mirage for close to a year now, and haven't had any issues. I tried their Pineapple Upsidedown Cake at the same time, and yields were horrible, even though they advertised it as a big yielder. Kinda makes me wonder if that cut was dudded early on, except the little buds there were buds did turn out nice.

I've ran DHN's cuts before without any issues..I picked up their sour diesel, sfv og, and venom og..The venom is the only one that's vegging normal. The sfv and sd were vegging but the leaves were very small and wouldn't fully develop into big fan leaves. I tossed em both and just kept the venom og..I'll never deal with dhn again. To much of a risk..

I never had a problem with them, Their Do Sa Do what they call it: DoSidos. Everyone sure seemed to love it, and ran the SFVOG, its a long flowering cut though, at least the ones i got. The SFVOG was really stinky, gassy and lemony like.
The Dosidos purpled out nicely

Here's their Mirage cut about ready to harvest (forced early) outdoor, around 9 weeks flowering..

I would have given a testicle for what i got from them to even approach that level of dankness.

I actually do testing for DHN, and have grown most of their newer clones indoor.

DHN recently began a wide spread "clean plant protocol" for all of their genetics. Everything that is being released currently, has passed through tissue culture and is tested regularly for dudding, etc..

If you used them in the past, understand that they are a clone company. They get cuts given to them, and they purchase cuts. Sometimes those cuts are released without anyone doing testing on them.. because they are a clone company.

Until they got a hold of testers like me (we've been doing testing for them over the past year) they only had a few outdoor growers that would grow their stuff first. So they had to take gambles in the past, and trust peoples words on what they were giving them.. and being new, DHN had to learn several lessons in that process. They truly have their shit together now, and have built a laboratory just to ensure everything they release is 100% clean, from the genetics up.

I can highly, recommend.. our cut of Romulan once they release it (info just went up on their website for it) and:

The Bling
Strawberry Cheesecake
Chile Verde (if they ever properly release it, and dont just tease people with mini-releases)

Stay away from anything bred by Hawaiian Seed Company. It all hermed on us, and several things they stopped selling because of that. In fact, I would if you did not enjoy DHN in the past.. stay away from anything not marked NEW STRAIN. But definitely try their new stuff. They have got some great cuts and genetics from Ethos and Purple City Genetics coming down the pipeline, as well as many very rare cuts and clones, that are still passing through their lab.

What's the Romulan like? I had this great Romulan cut that i lost due to a mislabling. Entire branches turned into long chunky spear buds. Smelled pine and dank. No sweetness. Kind of og ish. I would kill for it again.
