Dark Heart Nursery Clones

X

XxCaptiankushxX

How do you not plan? Was it a surprise this year you would need 24 cuts all the same and ready now? I guess spring sneaks up on you. As it changes so much each year! So many strains , but only so many legit cuts. Most are watered down garbage. Or not even similar to the real thing. With seeds I am skeptical, it may take 20-50 beans to find that keeper pheno.
How many pop that many of one strain? No one wants to put in the work, or financial investment.. That's why garbage goes around so often

And I don't sell clones on Craigslist. Lol. What a joke! For the most part I would only sell clones to those I know. I keep these proven genetics in my circle. Neighbors and such . So that means no dispensaries. Headband and sour d, seem to be on the longer side of flower. they prefer shorter 6-8 week strains. I suppose it depends on your market. My patients I cartake for prefer kush Chems and sours.

And yes I also sprouted many seeds this spring,
Archive -purpetrator, and some bodhi- sky lotus, super snow lotus, and lotus Larry, . Also reserva privada - kandy kush and will be making clones from all, cull the loosers and keep some male pollen for future breeding.
Clones are blue dream, truth, Tahoe og, Tom hills triangle kush. All will be dusted with some bodhi pollen.

You clone buyers!! Don't get your panties In a bunch. Just sad see people waiting in line for hours. And of course , growers aren't known for procrastinating! Poor planning! Being lazy! Would explain where dark heart nursery plays a roll. Smart marketeting to people who are desperate to grow, creating lines out the door! Must be the money to made from growing out these clones? Maybe they are not growing this medicine for the right reasons? If they didn't plan on providing there own cuts , what other corners are they cutting. Chemical Pesticides? I see a lack of ethics here.

Wow look at this sad mile of procrastinating desperados waiting in line for hours just for 25,000 free seeds in DC! I bet they wish they could party down with you, or even better be your neighbor. :dance013:

I use dhn to keep my plant count under control. The federal government counts unrooted clones when they want to make a charge stick. It also cuts two solid weeks out of my grow cycle. It also assures clean clones. It also allows me to show shit talkers the real potential of a cut by growing it better than them.

How to become a REAL grower? Can you mentor me? I signed up just in hopes that you would make me your apprentice.

I have no choice but to go through seeds to find my keepers and while it is fun and I like doing it, it in no ways is optimal. I would much rather be able to go to a well run nursery like DHN and get a couple clones that I knew were real deal and then just use the strains I liked for keepers. Not going to happen any time soon in my world. Besides outsourcing your work load, especially when you can afford it, is good for the community.

thats funny i was just telling a friend how much i hated that cut. It got passed around santa cruz for a while lots of people grew it cuz it finished fast and decent bag appeal. i'm glad it's not really around anymore personally. never got me high, kind of like Pot of gold.

i just got some Fire OG and SFV OG clones from a guy who said his genetics are all from dark heart, so i will keep yall posted on how they turn out

Both are nice Shcrews. I prefer the growth of the SFV but the smoke of the Fire. The SFV has a bushy frame and easy to grow while the Fire is leggy and can be finicky. Both yield pretty good for OG's.

im growing both of those cuts.
my outdoor buddy saif their fire og cut is the one that has more bud sites and tops in general. she yields better than their sfv for them in their scrogged clone beds. they cover in the fall when it rains and run theirs til halloween or so. i have the cuts in my garden so i agreed to make them trays of clones this year. they are running a mix of glue and og kush. i have the hells anges cut too im going to get them to try. i hear it throws down and is a reasonably high quality og.

any way the consensus from the farms in hmboldt was the fire og cut from dhn is the one to run outside.

ive also heard its not the real deal fire og but haters are always detrating clubs cuts so it may just be knee jerk poo pooing of them for being a dispensary clone provider. the fire is dank regardless of being legit or not. its super dank og. maybe not the dankest of all the ogs ive seen but definately
A+ top shelf legit ogkush. no one will turn their nose at that shit.

A View from the Other Side...

http://www.indeed.com/cmp/Dark-Heart-Industries/jobs/Tissue-Culture-Consultant-4009cadf3295139c

Tissue Culture Consultant
Dark Heart Industries - Oakland, CA
Our tissue culture facility currently operates on a pilot plant scale, experimenting with production in small batches. Most of our methods use shoot culture; propagation through axillary bud proliferation. We are not as yet working with agrobacterium protocols, protoplast fusion or any particularly advanced techniques, though we may explore these in the future.
We are currently looking for a consultant to help guide the growth of our current procedures into a full-fledged production process capable of scaling up to meet future demand. No one, to our knowledge, has ever used micropropagation methods with cannabis on a production scale so this is an exciting opportunity to do groundbreaking work in a brand new, rapidly expanding field in agriculture.
Our company already has a wealth of expertise in the plant sciences, chemistry, horticulture and agricultural science, but no one with significant experience specifically in commercial scale plant tissue culture. We are specifically looking for a consultant with hands-on experience in plant tissue culture, preferably in a large scale production environment.
Desired Education:

 • BS and/or MS in botany, plant physiology, agriculture, biotechnology, or related field.
Required Experience:

 • At least five years of experience working in a plant tissue culture laboratory or production facility.

 • Experience developing and/or implementing successful plant tissue culture protocols in all stages (Establishment, Multiplication, Acclimatization).
Preferred Experience:

 • Experience in large scale plant micropropagation using appropriate equipment.

 • Experience solving large scale logistical challenges in plant micropropagation.

 • Experience bringing new varieties and species into culture and developing specific protocols through experimentation.
As stated earlier, we already have significant expertise in botany, chemistry, agriculture, etc so we are really looking for someone with specific knowledge and experience in plant tissue culture production.
Our consultant must be able to come to our laboratory in Oakland once or twice a month, and be able to respond to inquiries via email and phone on a regular basis totaling 5 hours of work per week (20 hours per month). The exact number of hours and specific work performed will depend on how much you have to teach us. For the right candidate we can definitely work around your schedule.
Compensation is negotiable and will be based on expertise, quality of help provided and the number of hours worked. Really the more you have to offer, the higher the ultimate compensation.
If you think you can help us build our plant tissue culture process, please reply to this posting with your resume and a brief introduction summarizing your skills and experience. I would also be happy to answer any questions you might have about the position or our company.
Required experience:

 • Plant Tissue Culture: 5 years
