How’s the work been going, dankwolf? I’ve been real pleased with the stuff coming out of swami’s seedstock...funny you say WA...I hear he is one who’s got that true old school rks locked into his lines. Interested to hear what you’re finding in this yr’s crop! I’m surrounded by friends looking for that true rks so I always love checking into whatchu got rockin. Hope all is well on the homestead! Rolling up some of swami’s one x rks, smells like leather and looks like the walls are breathing. Mmm. Not the one but damn fine smoke.

A big thank you to miraculous meds for his contributions .

1# i put seeds into a 220 grit sand paper envelope and shook them around for a min to prep for sproting.

2 # I rinsed all seed in a peroxide/ water solution at 1/10 then rinsed off with distilled ro water .

3# seed are now place in distilled ro water in solo cups that have been bleach sterilized / rinsed thorughly with distilled ro water

4 # seeds will soak for 24 hours in said solo cups of water at 70° .

5 # I will be placing seeds in clean non-bleached paper towel for 1.5 - 4 days then will be place in a seed starter mix in 4 in potters.

Miraculous meds strians ( 10 of each and will be labeled 1-10 should all of 10 of each strain pop)

Seed strain #1. death star x( blue star f1 = ( death star x whitaker blues) .

Curious what was the pollen donor on the seed strain #1? My first guess was selfed feminized Blue Star?

Seeds are sad at moment . I got a bad batch of soil from grow store . ph was way off and has dam near killed all my mothers and seedlings even mixed with a seed starter mix . I am posses and grow store wont resolve issue . I am not happy ,


To add to all this I had a unlicensed contractor take my main bread and butter housing contract . so my company is herting can't even afford gas for my trucks . been a bad year .

Soil brand was "mother earth" . it has been running good strait out of the bag for two runs then all the sudden I got a bad bag . if you use it test ph before using just a heads up .

I guess I am back to mixing my own again .......

Sorry to hear it dank. We had terrible weather this year and 90% of my outdoor was trashed. So I'm not exactly as well off as this time last year.

Mothers are getting new soil tonight . so I will be able to save my 6-7 main girls.

Give me,another 5-10 years and I will realese a true stable rks f1 . only to home grows though .( fuck commercial distributors) sorry big guys you will have to tendbyour own gardens ....

How are others keeping multiple mothers/father's ? I am looking to keep around 30-50 mothers and 20-30 father's? Any input would be appreciated.

At moment I use fluorescents t8 style but I am having issues with having to keep,lights so close its making it hard to maintain root prunes /transplants.

I use 3 gallon ports for mothers /father's and once every 3 weeks I root prune 1.5 gallons of root ball and refill . it is working but I am not liking the amount of light adjustment needed to maintain the situation if that makes sense . any way how are you maintaining your breeding stock ?

Room is not an issue per say :tiphat. .

Have you taken a peek at the bonsai mothers thread? I keep many varieties on one bonsai plant, grafted. That's more of a space reason for me though.

I'm only working two projects, micro style.

Bigger donors yield more cuttings per session. How many cuttings do you
need at any given time will dictate the necessary donor size, natch.

I keep donors in 16oz containers and can take 4-6 cuttings per donor after
a few weeks in veg under 72w PL L.

My small veg box, 13.5" x 22" x 19.5" high, supports up to six donors
with a shelf on one side to allow rooting cuttings below newly rooted
cuttings above, next to the row of the taller mature donors.

Your situation is obviously a larger scale then what I employ,
but I thought my input may be applicable to some degree.

I wish I could help Dankwolf but I’m honestly just envious of all you that are able to have projects like this. I dream of being able to do a proper breeding project but unfortunately im only able to do a small personal grow and I’m only able to keep small clone/veg plants and only keep them until they prove worth not keeping.

Honestly not even sure what I’ll do once I find a couple that I don’t want to let go lol.

Keep up the good work Dankwolf and hope you can get to your end goal sooner than later. Hope 2019 is a wonderful year for you and all you care for.
