Panama Red by Equilibrium Genetics is supposed to be 2:1 to 4:1 CBD to THC and an up high. We'll see in 3 months or so.
Cbd stone and up high are at the oppisite ends of the spectrum when it comes to psychoactivity.
Maybe it has a clear high, I could believe that.
That's why I usually do my cbd hybrids using "sativas", avoiding any druggy terpenes for an invisible cbd high.
Going by the strain description. I'll gladly let you know the effects either way when its done. I believe it is the same strain provided by Coastal seeds. Genetic testing was done on that one showing it to be mostly related to landrace and CBD strains vs. Modern hybrids.
Double checked and it is the strain produced by Coastal Seeds and released in 2017. Its also mentioned that a phenotype showed measurable amounts of THCV. Curious what that combination produces. We'll see.
I’m planning to make some fem crosses with A5. The two I have in mind are with two different Silver Haze cuts, Core Amo and S5. So..

After that I might also do a regular seeds F1 hybrid of A5 X Hawaiian (Nirvana)
I will want testers

Sounds good spaventa, I used to have the core cut a few years back and I'm gutted I let her go, I guess I never really gave her a fair crack at the whip, i was running the exodus cheese which i had dialed in and didnt think the core came close,
After listening to what other people have said about the core it shows how naive I was, last year I made a few crosses and I'm always tinkering , I just culled 8 beautifully structured kens gdp x exodus cheese males my own cross, the male i selected to cross with the exodus was the best out of 20 males in a seed run , currently got a reveg going on with an sfv cross 3 females that I've picked, not made my mind up yet so will probably run again,so many projects so little space to do it, also on going mk ultra male to play with, another beautiful male

Hey Spaventa, after reading the A5 S1 thread, you (and few others) gave me the idea to merge two O.Haze lines by using my frozen O. Haze metal male, as long as it's still viable, to create my own Haze hybrid. My selected incensey O.Haze male works great in crosses, but flowering times are to long. I rarely find something under 16weeks and I don't like straight O.Haze X Indica crosses. But in his progeny I found my keeper Haze very quickly, the Pan-O-Haze.
The idea is to cross the O.Haze metal pheno with my Sour NL cut,then to do a bigger selection to find a smelly male and use it on the Pan-o-Haze. In other words:
(Panama x Original Haze incense) x (SourNL x Original Haze metal)
I decided to give tihis project a go after realizing that I have already done 75% of the work. I made the Original Haze selection, progeny tested the 2 males (and more femlaes and another male) and tested few Pan-o-Haze crosses. All the plants I will be using do carry some kind of incense, also the SourNL. I do only need to find a fast flowering smelly (SourNL x Original Haze metal) male but I'm very confident I will be able to smell the magic, like I did it when I selected the 2 OH males. I only need enough seeds/plants (time, room and effort) to select.
If the final cross will be great or weak, that's another story, but it's worth a try, I think.

I have some Chem4 BX2 seeds almost ready. Then I have some pollen sacks drying for pollen collection of Dub-si-dos male(OGKB x OG³) . Might hit 09' Animal Cookies with that pollen, or maybe make an OGKB BX. Next male to get flipped will be a Tha Melon from Karma.

I’ll add that Neville’s is the best weed I’ve ever grown or smoked. 2003 GHS. 10 regular seed gave me 7 girls and 3 phenotypes. They were the best plants I’ve ever grown in my life by far.

there is a paper from 70s that did just this. basically yes u will get some individuals with 1:1 or at least 4 or 5% cbd i would assume.
I have an unopened pack of GHS Nevilles Haze 2012.
I heard the older Nevs were much better? I was excited when I bought them but have been shy to germinate them.
I bought them with the intention of making a few crosses with it, if I found a good pheno.
