I Have two I open pollinated this year.
Swamp apple (male) x kosher kush(f) (my selection)

Male stacked nicely had a medium stretch which I was hoping to add to the kosher since she was smaller and stacked like a typical kush. I wanted large flower clusters and trying to get a more pronounced sour apple kush flavor.

2nd was a mystery girl that was crossed with the swamp apple Male she was an unseen runt in the bunch and untagged. Based off structure it may of been a bubba. Not sure what to expect.

Hey all, how about an accidental cross? Had a light leak in door frame of my room a few weeks after my neck surgery. Room is 10’ x 10’, 2000 watts.

I have a really nice cut of GG4 and was running 4, they hermed week 7 so I let them go because I needed the meds. Still great smoke.

I also have a really great cut of Mendo Purps. Bud is lavender colored with orange hairs and frosty. Had it for 3 years. Was running just 1, in week 6 on the other side of the room out of the path of the light leak.

Got about 200 seeds from 8 Ozs of GG4. Got only 23 seeds from almost 4 Ozs of Mendo. Figured the Mendo was pollinated by the GG4. Popped 6 seeds from the Mendo, one didn’t pop, got 5 girls. They are in week 4 flower now. Number 1 is a tall lanky lady with large thin Sativa like leaves. 2 & 3 are short bushes with the same leaves as my Mendo. 4 is taller (stretched more under same light) and again Mendo leaves.

Number 5. My favorite. This one is tall like number 4. The leaves are the same shape as my GG4, the bud is the same lavender color as the Mendo.

I know this isn’t scientific but I could post pics and it’s easy to see the similarities. I know it could herm but so far so good. I had to give it a try. I’m going to call it “Gorilla Purps”.

Hell yea! That's what bob Ross calls a happy little accident. Gorilla glue #4 was an accident... yes there is a chance they will hermie, but a watchful eye will be able to handle that before it can do damage. Post some pics! I bet the gorilla purps wont dissapoint.

Bob Ross knows his trees!!!! Hahahahaha. I just figured I should throw it up here so the lineage is documented just in case it turns out to be something special. It could herm or otherwise just turn out to be garbage I know but, I’m gonna run it and see. So far it looks really good.

If it’s documented here it will be known that:

•The parents are GG4 x Mendo Purps (Not GDP)
•It was an accidental cross
•It came out of the Detroit area
•Unk and Big Ed F’d up lol

I will throw some pictures up today.

Looks healthy! Gdp is good stuff to try growing. I've got some candyland growing which is from the same breeder as gdp and is a cross of gdp as well. It's fire. Smells like fruit wrapped in a dirty sock with one pheno and the other is fruity and sweet.

I’ve had 4 different GDP cuts over the last 2 years or so, have a mom currently. They are all the same, at least the cuts I’ve had. Too leafy, slow growers, don’t yield. Like I said, maybe it’s the cuts I’m getting. Not really sure why I keep feeding it, lol. My flower room is not real big so I can’t justify running poor yielding strains. Personally, my Mendo Purps tastes better than any GDP I’ve had, at least around here.

for sure. depending on quantity harvested & a germ test, give them away to everybody who wants them.

It’s most likely the cuts I’ve been given. Could be something I’m doing. I’ll run this latest cut and see if it’s any better. This one looks more Sativa than the other cuts I’ve had, maybe it will be the one. Not that I have the “Kens Cut” but I’ve read that cut has more of a Sativa look to it. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, lol.

I keep small moms too. Don’t have a choice. Small veg area here.

I was just telling my buddy about an hour ago that we need to pop the rest of the GG4 x Mendo beans! Gonna grab another 6 tonight and get them going. The purple Pheno I already found is looking good but, there could be something really amazing in there.
