just got back from thailand where i found something very nice!

i collected seeds in the Transkei a couple years ago and crossed them with a great DP.

next I want to cross them with the newly acquired thai

Thanks for the reply.
I figured as much but had to ask.
It's a shame because one of the best ways to preserve
these old school lines is to get them in as many gardens
as possible. IMHO. But, I realize that preservation isn't really
the motive for most.

please don,t make it sound like that , they are on lock via the source ,

they were also on lock for a very worthy true cause , which i,m not going to divulge either . it is a preservation project and then some .

they may not be getting thrown around ic mag , doesnt mean people aren't getting them .

Google probably won't be much help in this department.
Strain Name acronyms don't make sense half of the time & the other half of the time there are other strains with the exact same initials but labeled differently...
LSD for example could be Lemon Skunk Diesel or Loud Seeds Diesel or Lavendar Skunk Dominia or Larry Sour Diesel or Lemon Sour Diesel or...

OGKB though, is OG Kush Breath.
SSSDH = Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze.

Most can be deciphered by staying within a particular conversation.

agree with that..! TrillOG named GG#4, Goji Glue for example and i was like "these strains are not too mysterious, google it".. but I get the point, a lot more examples with confusing names out there

I am testing my Sour OG, AJ's SD x SFVOG F3's right now they are vegging.

I recently began flowering some pure sativa's for the first time in my life. I have 3 pure old-timer purple haze males. Going to make the following:

F2 Oldtimer Purple Haze
Zamaldelica x OT Purple Haze
New Grimm Cinderella 99 x OT Purple Haze
Maybe one of those Sour OG f3 x OT Purple Haze too

I like the Purple Haze male. Great branching and its staying short. I am gonna go with the middle sized one I have a huge one a medium and a smaller one. The middle sized male has the look of my keeper P Haze #5 female.

It won't be an open pollination this time but I want like 2-300 seeds off each so like 2 tops off each.

BS 2.2, I mean if you don't want em.... I do wish I had more to play with, I didn't find what I was hoping to find in the females I ran but the male had everything I wanted and has lent its self well to moms, everything ran so far has been fire (ATF, Apollo 11- original BG genius pheno, Double Purple Doja). I think you would like it it's certainly a sativa leaner I found 10-11 weeks to be the shortest flower time of what I ran and it has really great structure, I found buds on most to be smallish but rather dense..

Following your OTH grow already I got 15 or so beans from their original OTH project line. I believe it's OTH F#3 x OTH M#? anyways I believe the mom in that cross is the Purple Haze. I also have a few Snowhigh Columbian Purple Haze (discontinued) one day I'll go nuts on some real sativa's.

Some Really great crosses and projects in this thread guys much Respect!
Here's a OGxChemdog-D male that I recent found in a 10 pack, best of the bunch. Heavy RKS, Chem smells just brushing against him in veg, great structure, tight node spacing. I have a clone of him flowering now, going to use his pollen on my Headband/Sour Kush cut and my PurpleTurtle (GSC S1 Selection).

I ended up tossing the Agent Orange male I had and not using him in any crosses due to him auto-flowering in veg, Might have been due to being root bound, but I don't think so, better safe then sorry.

Still working threw the Blueberry seeds looking for a couple nice heavy Blueberry smelling males to preserve the line and to use in future projects, so far I have found one really nice male, with decent structure, no signs of mutation and has that BB smell while in veg.

Still haven't even thought about starting the Pure Pakistani Preservation Project yet,lol

Great thread guys much respect to those making their own gear and taking the time to grow them out, its a lot of work!

honestly those dosidos x flo scout are going to be unreal if you are into cookies
the special ogk haze is a classic ogk, haze is just a title really, but it's a kickass strain for sure
the grape stomper og mom was all grape gas, funky fuel and fruit

Thanks, though the original f1 isn't mine. I originally bought it to see what kind of Hawaiian Sativa phenotypes were to be had, liked what I found, ordered a bunch more and have been selecting for those traits for the last couple of seasons.

As of my last viewing, they're still for sale for less than 40 bucks a ten pack. I reviewed them in the Ultimate Sativa thread and also put up a review in the outdoor strain guide and there are some good pics to check out.

It really is a good blend. I am chasing the lemony, electric sativa traits but the f1 has a Sweet Tooth phenotype that's warm and fuzzy and smells just like Sweet Pink Grapefruit. The intermediate phenotype smells like lemon and blueberries, has an intense high and yields like a champion.
