Been growing some crazy strains. This year i grew all kush and ogs. What do you know they all have twisted leaves and discoloration. Clearly a signature in the genes.

OG Kush is very sensitive to nitrogen, over watering, and low humidity.

Homeboy wants what im smoking? Can we get your input bro i noticed you have GG#4 and SFV in your garden so your input would be nice. Does the GG4 taste like kush but lack potency?

It looks like the leafs are burnt on the tips. I assure they are not burnt. I pulled the black bags over them at time to keep animals out. One morning got to hot and it baked some of the lower branches.

If we had all this insight at the beginning of the thread, we'd have gotten to the bottom of this og kush mystery much sooner...

Crippy, The Crip, Cripto, the names alone just bring back great old memories of being an young stoner. I'm not sure if the name had anything to do with the show "tales from the crypt" which aired back in those days. This was the first stuff that had to be kept in a jar as the smell would get you in trouble.

Like I have said in a previous post in here crip might have started out as an individual strain but soon all non-seeded sensi was labeled crippy, crypto, or just the crip.

Now growing up in S FL we had access to great Jamaican chocolate regs, and other good nickel and dime bags but when I tried the Afghani for the first time I was in love and higher than I had ever been. This is when I realized that "not all weeds are equal." The good old days.

This thread seems to parallel the MTF threads....so many origin stories...even with Alaskans who were there in the 70s and 80s telling folks that EVERYTHING was called MTF back in the day to help it sell...there may have very well been an original mtf but it was impossible to tell by the time icmag came around w "experts"

Damn folks time to pack it in... This OG kush fella solved the case early and takin us to school.. Fuckin A bro, you must a huge canna history nerd plugged into all the right connections. I mean shit you know the guy running THE "white". Who wouldve thunk it? Go ahead and pat yourself on the back and crack open a cold one, you earned it bro, might as well close the thread.

Ironically the guy with the white came from NY to CA. I have been around despenserys and delivery drivers the past two-4 years. I have seen pound upon pound of great weed. OG Kush is so unique it stand above the rest in flavor and most of the time potency. My dealer use to save good batches of og kush for himself and his buddies to smoke.

Real OG kush is more abundant in SoCal but can often be found up north at reputable shops.

In hawaii i was surprised to see skunk! They called it skunk dog on maui. I had a skunk #1 gifted to me so I knew the flavor of skunk(not a fan). The skunk i got from hawaii(unkown name) from this old school dude was skunk flavor from the mainlands but with crazy potency and bud formation. This opened my eyes to whats really out there. These buds were bubbly and sativa. One joint and your higher than smoking og kush. Later down the road we found a small nug that was so potent we had to water it down with other weed. Driving became unsafe ect. for the most part we got bunko weed in hawaii because they picked to early.(mold issues) But when it was good man was it good!

Weed from socal in the late 70's came from mexico. Some of this weed was great and potent(according to old sources) and carried parquat. The weed from mexico has been degraded over the years of cartels breeding in indica strains but this is just speculation.

Seems possible to call OG Kush crippy because it cripples most of the time you grow it. Its difficult to grow and can shrivel up and die at any moment in time. My other og kush grows didnt do so well. The plants get rubbery and cripple up and then dryout and die. The leaves remain green and is odd considering no other plants in my garden do this. Im not from Florida so i cant speak on the crippy part.

FYI skunkdog is not skunk...it's skunkdog....won't be too difficult to find the story here on ic from peeps on Maui...I've grown skunkdog...
And I'm not trying to start shit...but are you referencing 2-4 years of experience w dispensaries as your entire resume? Cuz there's people on here who had four years of experience w canna by the mid eighties...

You can smoke pot for 40 years straight and not know about strains. I dont need a resume. I have people I talk to who has been smoking since the 50's. I sow, I grow, Therefore I know. The skunk dog in muai I never got to smoke or i did and didnt know it. Around hana they dont have names like socal does. Its just weed. Some stuff did have names like skunk dog and bluedream. All the rest was no namers from hana.

So when i say i had skunk from hana what I mean is I had a mean version of skunk numnber 1 from hana that put me on my ass. The strain name was unkown but it tasted like skunk#1(smells greasy like vasoline).
