Crippy was used on weed that creeps up on you. You get higher over time.
This is exactly what I heard direct from Colombians, it was originally a name for Sativa's, with creeper effect. Then the makeup changed and they got Dutch genetics and these now dominate all "cripi" from there. You can still find the older brickweed strains, punto rojo, mangobiche, corinto, but they are not from there in Antioquia nor are they labeled as cripi on the market.
