Seems like lawmakers should be held to a higher standard not a lesser one. I think total transparency should be the norm. They work for us. Or at least they should.

I am all about getting rid of both parties. One of them happens to be slightly more hateful and dishonest at the moment. But getting rid of any politician that is not working for the people is the only way anything will start to improve. Chanting lock them up can equally apply to any of them.

you can be forced to honor a subpoena. but, they have to give you immunity from prosecution to force the testimony. if they have to let little fish go to fry the big fish, i'm okay with that.

i agree, they deserve it. however, they are but another layer of "insulation" that needs stripping away in order to get to the root of the problem at hand. they are like a bandage hiding a skin cancer, and we need to rip the bandage off in order to try to heal the cancer. yeah, ripping the damn thing off will hurt...

There isn't much time to get any legal BS done. As soon as Trump says he is officially running there's nothing anyone can do. All investigations from congress will be shut down as soon as they win back the house/Seneate. Trump will just pardon any that he wants. The Dems are clueless, they have no clue how to deal with a person like Trump. They need to hit him and others fast and hard. They must do what needs to be done to get there, it won't be pretty. Stop thinking Rep's will be nice or cooperate in any way.

Current evidence points to him being involved in a conspiracy to undermine vote certifications and elector assignments in some of the states that Biden won, as well as being involved in meetings, either directly or via a proxy, to undermine the election, stop the certification of the vote (that whole January 6 debacle), and there's evidence now that he asked state election officials to rig their counts.

In addition, there seems to be a significant likelihood of fraud, re. inflated values he gave to properties, without any official basis for those values, which then allowed him to borrow greater amounts of money, which had he not fibbed about values, he likely wouldn't have gotten. i.e., FRAUD.

I strongly suspect that if you watched more reality-based news, and less delusion-cultivating fringe nonsense put out by tilted partisan entities, you'd be more than a bit aware of this by now. Your hero has been a grifter, cheat and a liar for decades, Hempy.

And yes, it seems the e3vidence against your idol is growing bigly. (*Which spell check now accepts as a word. Sign of the times, I guess. When the leadership is dumbed down, so too is the populace (in some corners), and thus, the language suffers... bigly).
