While I don’t pretend to be an expert, I have three decades of experience as a registered nurse and have read through tens of thousands of patient charts, and have also been involved with patient deaths. While I cannot speak to how things are done in your country(where do you live, anyways?)I am pretty familiar with how the system works in the US. You may want to re-read my posts for a tutorial. Simply speaking, people do not die from a virus infection, they die from the damage the virus causes, and death certificates reflect this fact.

In the US, in order for a hospital or any other care facility to be re-imbursed by an insurance company or by the government, there needs to be proper documentation with corroborating evidence in the patient’s chart. For example, in the case where someone dies from pneumonia, secondary to an influenza or covid infection, there would be a chest xray documenting pneumonia, and there would also be a long history of vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and laboratory tests results as well as detailed descriptions of the care and treatment that was provided.

Also, your descriptions of what was happening in nursing homes is bunk. Patients are not being denied fluids or nutrition. Anyone who is going to be intubated and placed on a ventilator would have an IV and be given fluids to prevent dehydration, and would be provided nourishment. Patients on ventilators in ICUs don’t die from dehydration or starvation as a matter of course and your suggestion to the contrary demonstrates your lack of knowledge and understanding of the real world.

I'll make it easier for you - Less than 5% of the deaths listed as Covid deaths had No previous or other underlying health conditions and 95% of the number reported had at least 1 other major contributing factor, that may have killed them even had they not had Covid.

I wonder what the number is for influenza, seeing as you just brought it up as a comparison? (Weird how you're now comparing it to flu. Thats what I said. I said its weird how we're not treating it like flu, remember? Lol)
