i try. sometimes i lose my patience and utterly fail, but i try. if i stumble across it again, i'll try to remember to do that. at present, i don't remember who posited it or which thread it was in, nor what day it was. (nor where i might have shit last, lol) post numbers vary from person to person dep on who/how many they might have on "ignore", but the thread will be the same.
Gotta admit the CRT thing was a smart move to rile up the base, even though it was clearly fake news. It led to scores of red hats running and winning local school board elections. School boards and city councils are where politicians often start their careers. The moral minority did something similar back in the early 1980’s and that led to a red tide flowing across the country.
given how much influence school boards can have on what is taught, i'm glad that most kids can smell a rat from a mile away. banning something from the classroom is the quickest way to make sure that kids will dig into it on their own initiative. see also the "just say NO!" bullshit from the anti-drug folks, lol...thanks, Nancy, you ignorant bitch. you made damn sure that drugs won the "war on drugs"... LOL!

really? i know meth is given as a "weight loss" aid (questionably, in my mind), and cocaine is used for those allergic to synthetic pain-killers. is that the case with heroin? if they use it around here, no one mentions it. then again, they "might not" talk about it either, given it's poor public reputation.
heroin is used for intense cancer pain (etc) by IV, however there is little difference to morphine.
