... What do you mean? What sorts of paper work? Sorry that's super ominous what you wrote....

Probably the same thing I got. Letter from Homeland Security with my name and address, as well as the address of where I work stating I was considered essential personnel.

Although I wouldn't put it past my bosses to have fabricated it. Not because we're not essential (We legitimately are. Especially if you like online shopping.) , but because it was easier than trying to get a legit one.

Besides, we're not to that point yet. Maybe a few overlous officers are trying to. But they can be told to fuck off and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. Know your rights. Read the Constitution.

Its a letter I am to give to police if they stop me while out driving. It explains that I am exempt from the shelter in place rule.

It has verification numbers for them to call

L.A. threatens to shut off water, power of businesses breaking coronavirus rules

Mayor Eric Garcetti expressed frustration and outrage that some nonessential businesses remained open despite coronavirus restrictions and vowed Los Angeles would take action against them.

Garcetti said his office was still receiving daily reports of nonessential businesses that continued to operate as normal — behavior he called “irresponsible and selfish.”

White House, Senate reach deal on massive $2 trillion coronavirus spending bill
Among other things, the legislation boosts unemployment insurance, sends checks to many Americans and bars Trump from receiving any aid.

WASHINGTON — The White House and Senate leaders reached an agreement early Wednesday on a massive $2 trillion coronavirus spending bill aimed at alleviating the economic impact of the outbreak.

"At last, we have a deal. After days of intense discussions, the Senate has reached a bipartisan agreement on a historic relief package for this pandemic," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., announced from the Senate floor shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday. "In effect, this is a wartime level of investment for our nation."

Today, we have surpassed China in number of deads, here in Spain. Only Italy has more deads. USA has surpassed Spain in number of positives. And USA cases are more recent than ours. So we can only wait USA dead numbers will be higher soon. I would really like to be wrong.

8:20 a.m. Amazon workers test positive at nine warehouses: Workers at at least nine of Amazon's U.S. warehouses have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Amazon and the Washington Post. Workers have complained that Amazon is not doing enough to protect them from the virus, saying they are too busy to wash their hands regularly and are required to attend shoulder-to-shoulder standup meetings.

Prof. Francis Boyle Update on Coronavirus Bioweapon

•Mar 17, 2020

Francis Boyle is a professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law. He drafted the U.S. domestic implementing legislation for the Biological Weapons Convention, known as the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, that was approved unanimously by both Houses of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George H.W. Bush. In an exclusive interview given to Geopolitics and Empire, Dr. Boyle discusses the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China and the Biosafety Level 4 laboratory (BSL-4) from which he believes the infectious disease escaped. He believes the virus is potentially lethal and an offensive biological warfare weapon or dual-use biowarfare weapons agent genetically modified with gain of function properties, which is why the Chinese government originally tried to cover it up and is now taking drastic measures to contain it. The Wuhan BSL-4 lab is also a specially designated World Health Organization (WHO) research lab and Dr. Boyle contends that the WHO knows full well what is occurring.

A handful of Republican senators on Wednesday threatened to delay the $2 trillion coronavirus spending bill over a proposed increase to unemployment insurance.

In a statement, Sens. Tim Scott, R-S.C., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Ben Sasse, R-Neb., said that the bill could provide a "strong incentive for employees to be laid off instead of going to work" because some people could theoretically make more by being unemployed.

At a press conference Wednesday, Graham, Scott, Sasse and fellow GOP Sen. Rick Scott of Florida said they hoped an amendment could be passed that would limit unemployment benefits to 100 percent of a worker's salary.

"We'll know in about an hour whether this is a drafting error," Graham said, adding that he's afraid it is not and that very few people would choose work over unemployment benefits that provided moderately more money.

"Our goal is to help this bill get to the finish line," Scott of South Carolina said, adding that while he supports the bill, "We cannot encourage people to make more money in unemployment than they do in employment."

A Democratic Senate Finance Committee aide said Tuesday a uniform payment was necessary to avoid bogging down states to deliver individualized benefits. A Republican aide on the Senate Finance Committee said Wednesday the policy stands and the text of the bill is unlikely to change.

BREAKING....

Bernie Sanders threatens to hold up coronavirus bill after 4 GOP senators push to cut unemployment aid..

Chances for a planned Senate vote Wednesday on a historic $2 trillion relief package in response to the coronavirus pandemic appeared to dwindle as senators threatened to delay it over a key unemployment insurance proposal.

Earlier in the day, four Republican senators — Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott of South Carolina, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Rick Scott of Florida — threatened to oppose the chamber's push to pass the rescue package through fast-track procedures. They argued a proposal to add $600 per week to unemployment insurance for up to four months, a core provision of the near-final legislation, could encourage companies to lay off workers and Americans to stay unemployed, urging a vote to cap the aid.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., then said he would delay the bill if his GOP colleagues did not drop their opposition, calling it an "outrage" to prevent Americans from getting emergency unemployment insurance. In a statement, he said he is "prepared to put a hold on this bill" to lobby for tighter restrictions on companies receiving aid from a taxpayer pool of $500 billion.

The prospect of an impasse in the Senate appeared to hit U.S. stock indexes at the end of Wednesday's session, as markets closed in the green but off their highs. Investors hoped Congress could quickly approve the legislation, which gives direct payments to Americans, loans to businesses large and small and resources to states and hospitals to fight the outbreak.
