I asked the local post office in my small town if they would close. They said "If one of us gets sick, we'll close for about 3 weeks."

So get your seed order in. lol

No seeds needed here.
Ive got hundreds of packs, all kinds of crosses and thousands of seeds. Just finished making 53 new crosses last season. Lots of vials of fresh pollen in the fridge.
Im good. Also 4 freezers filled to the brim with food, and hundreds of pounds of dry food.

Coronavirus poses dreadful choice for global leaders: Wreck your economy or lose millions of lives

WASHINGTON — The coronavirus pandemic has confronted governments around the globe with the ultimate bad choice: Wreck your economy or lose millions of lives.
While some initially hesitated, leaders and legislators in the United States and worldwide increasingly have decided they have to accept the severe economic pain.

Coronavirus: State unemployment websites crash as applications surge
"Totally broken," tweeted one person about their area's unemployment website. Trump administration officials have warned unemployment could reach 20 percent due to the pandemic.

Workers who have suddenly found themselves without a paycheck because of the growing coronavirus pandemic in the United States are now dealing with another frustration — state unemployment websites crashing because of high traffic.

From Oregon to New York and Washington, D.C., officials and Twitter users have highlighted the problem after the mass closing of restaurants, retail stores and other businesses as part of the effort to slow the spread of the virus.

Does anyone know if someone could be tested a few months later to see if they had covid 19? I'm pretty sure my daughter had it in late December after reading the experiences of those who lived through it.

I have not heard of an anti-body test to see if you've had it. Unfortunately, I have also read that if you catch it again, it's worse for the lungs. I know of another guy, 60, who thinks he had WuFlu in Jan. From a chinese guy coughing on an airport tram in Orlando.

Where are the other cases? He did say a guy who was travelling with him also got sick for a week.

A lot isn't adding up about this WuFlu. Still best to be safe.

The post office and money are going to be biggest spreaders of virus. I was at PO today, and had to touch, touch screen and use their pen. No antibacterial soap for customers. Money can be infected for upto 17 days.

good webcast with Bill Ackman

https://www.zerohedge.com/health/he...bill-ackman-warns-america-will-end-we-know-it

he talks about the effect of an 18 month shut-down on the US economy.

As he explains, the US economy - and capitalism - does not work with 18 month shutdowns.

oh well, the local golf club is offering some MAJOR discounts on their entry fee.

I don't play golf, but anyway :woohoo:

They need to freeze stock market till this shit is over. I lost 40% of my retirement money from paranoia.

A few shops I was in the past couple days wouldn't accept cash! Only bank/credit cards.

I already had a nice supply of ammo before all of this so no need to buy more but I can see where if u didn't have any you might want some.

It's not too far fetched to believe that if things keep up and resources become scarse those who did not prepare at all might come looking for those that have supplies.

In the other hand if the currency crashes gold will pretty much have no value but ammo, food, seed, etc.. will almost always have value in terms of trade.

Things have never really gotten that bad but we also haven't seen a total shut down of everything like this before either, not in most of our lifetimes at least.

This 100. Chimp outs occur for somebody’s beloved sports team losing. And people don’t think day 3-4 of no food there won’t be some ‘gimme dat’ mentality? Lol. Cool protect your supplies of soy burgers with your plastic flatware. This should be fun

Just like in scouts,be prepared.
Btw,on the subject of paper money. Many may not know this but the Fed already has their version of digital currency ready to go and can implement it rather quickly.

I'm done with trying to figure out what's really going on but still want relevant information always. One golden rule in this country is,"Follow the money."
