when I got up about 5 am, I could buy silver rounds for about $14.52 per ounce delivered.
But I needed to balance my check-book etc & figure out how much I had to spend.
by the time I drank my coffee, prices were up AND so were premiums.
oh well, back to paying off debt.

I collect both silver and gold coins. They do cycle up and down, but will always retain some value, ever when fiat currencies become worthless.

unless you are VERY lucky, local banks may run short of C-notes. not enough paper out there for everyone to get their cash out. a run on the banks will produce MUCH more harm, both long & short term. probably some enterprising counterfeiters working overtime to scam folks out of their twenties/fifties even as we speak...
ALthough I speak English quite well, I absolutely do not undertand what you want to say with this. I understand each word seperately, but not the meaning of all the words together. Could you explain to a non native English speaker? (I am dutch speaking)
The reason I prepped is simply to avoid having to go in crowded places like supermarkets. I figure, the more distance I keep from people, the less chance I have of getting infected. I have always been very susceptible to infections like flu, or sinusistis or the common cold or angina. Mainly because I come from the South(Italy) and I live in a cold country (Belgium). I always have vitamin D deficiency and need to take it as a supplement so I don't get sick too often from octobre to april. But Octobre -APril for me is always a risky period even without this corona crap. So I want to minimize chances of getting that disease. I don't have time for it LOL. Now is the time to start prepping my vegetable and fruit gardens for the spring/summer

You can't eat or wipe your ass with gold and silver, the real money maker right now is toilet paper stocks, ironically most stocks will be toilet paper in another week or two.
Google stock is the new gold as everyone sits around googling their symptoms, and porn.

The Senate will return to Washington Monday to work on a multi-billion dollar coronavirus package, but the bill remains hung up in negotiations between Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the White House, according to multiple Capitol Hill sources.
The Senate is expected to take up this week the massive bipartisan emergency package from the House to address the pandemic, after canceling its week-long recess. But much uncertainty remains over timing and logistics, despite mounting public pressure and the stock market taking a serious hit as the global pandemic continues to spread and daily life in the U.S. is severely disrupted.
