(CBSDFW.COM) – Texas trauma surgeon Dr. Brittany Bankhead-Kendall says it’s a rarity that any of her COVID-19 patients X-rays come back without dense scarring.
In one of her Twitter posts, she says “post-covid lungs look worse than any type of terrible smokers lung we’ve ever seen.”
“Everyone’s just so worried about the mortality thing and that’s terrible and it’s awful. But man, and all the survivors and the people who have tested positive this is, it’s going to be a problem,” Dr. Bankhead-Kendall said.
Like many, she’s treated thousands of patients since March.
Of them, she tells CBS 11 News those who have had COVID-19 symptoms show a severe chest X-ray every time. And those who were asymptomatic show a severe chest X-ray 70 to 80% of the time.
“There are still people who say ‘I’m fine I don’t have any issues’ and you pull up their chest X-ray and they absolutely have a bad chest X-ray,” she said.

The healthy lungs are clean with black representing the air. In the smokers lung, white lines are indicative of scarring and congestion. While the COVID lung is filled with white.
“You’ll either see a lot of that white dense scarring or you’ll see it throughout the entire lung. And if you’re not feeling problems now the fact that that’s on your chest X-ray It sure is indicative of you possibly having problems later on,” said Dr. Bankhead-Kendall.
She said it’s too early to know the extent of COVID-19’s impact on your body or if the scarring will heal, however she said it’s important that if you’re experiencing shortness of breath after your COVID-19 goes away, stay in touch with your primary care doctor.
Note that it occurs in Asymptomatic patients and "Recovered" patients. Not so Asymptomatic, Not so Recovered.

The Norwegian Medicines Agency linked 13 deaths to the corona vaccine’s side effects. Those who died had two things in common – they were old and frail.
A total of 23 deaths have been reported in connection with the corona vaccination.
So far, 13 of these have been assessed.
“The reports might indicate that common side effects from mRNA vaccines, such as fever and nausea, may have led to deaths in some frail patients,” chief physician Sigurd Hortemo in the Norwegian Medicines Agency noted.
Side effects
The Norwegian Medicines Agency and the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) jointly assess all side effects reports.
As a result, the FHI has updated the corona vaccination guide with new advice on the vaccination of frail elderly people.
“If you are very frail, you should probably not be vaccinated,” Steinar Madsen at the Norwegian Medicines Agency said at a webinar on corona vaccine for journalists on Thursday.

Apocalyptic, haha thanks you I had a good laugh. It's just natural selection. All species on Earth are subject to it, why shouldn't we? We evaded from it long enough already, it's about time balance between species is restored, humanity included.
And it's just getting started. There are hundreds of thousands of animal viruses ready to infect humanity. It's just hilarious seeing the world leaders treating the consequences but not tackling the causes themselves. They keep staying in their old broken way of life which will bring only more of it.
People need to understand everything we are facing is one and only one problem. Global warming, pandemics, fire blazing, climate changes... It's the price we pay for breaking balance for decades if not centuries.
Humanity need to realize it is not alone on this planet.
And it's just getting started. There are hundreds of thousands of animal viruses ready to infect humanity. Good points for sure, but you forgot to mention that rampant deforestation that continues apace worldwide, which entails the killing and eating of endangered wildlife carrying new and deadly pathogens, as exemplified by the Wuhan "Wet Markets" where anything that moves is on sale as food for short-sighted greedy people.
I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention many things indeed, like the melting permafrost, eternal ices on North Pole gone by 2030, ...
