Spanish flu fatality rate was around 0.26% nationwide, only in some areas in my country (Holland) there was it 0.58%.
Viruses don't mess with politics. Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
Due to not wearing masks, safe distancing, regular hand washing, the virus continues to spread.
Did Americans question the 1918 "Spanish Flu" thinking it was propaganda? No.

Its important to understand that this virus is now with us as a species. Its almost certainly going to become seasonal. Its also gone cross-species into at least 6 other species that we're aware of. It could jump back to humans at basically any time. So yes, the chance of dying may be low per time you get the virus, but there's plenty of reason to believe that some people will get the virus multiple times.

sure seems like the US is doing 100% of the work of a quarantine,
taking twice the economic hit,
and getting 50% of the benefit.
American corporations' answer for how they will be profitable in the future
= head count reduction.
Looks like the US economy is going to be even more like the USSR & 20th century China, centrally controlled economy.
doesn't matter how much US politicians bash "socialism".
in reality they are embracing socialism (for the rich) like never before.
seems like the US economy is a really really unstable arrangement.
seeing as how it's based more & more on growing the national debt.
Well maybe they did, I posted about the experiments they did to infect people with Spanish flu.
They were not able to infect anyone.

They just didn't know what they were doing. They did not realize that the virus likely spread in the presymptomatic phase. SARS-COV-2 also spreads during the presymptomatic phase and also may spread in asymptomatic cases(if such things actually exist over a longer timeline).
In the case of the "Spanish Flu", places that locked down faster and practices social distancing and mask use fared better. They never did know the exact point in the infection in which it transmitted, but it was very clear that lockdown tactics worked.

Monday for remdesivir, and said the price would be $3,120 for patients with private insurance. The amount that patients pay out of pocket depends on insurance, income and other factors.
“We’re in uncharted territory with pricing a new medicine, a novel medicine, in a pandemic,” Gilead’s chief executive, Dan O’Day, told The Associated Press.

A few weeks ago we saw essential workers being forced to go back to work for the sake of the economy. So...lets think?

Well... Up here we were simply shut down. We still are to a great extent. We were allowed to go for groceries, but if you took a walk down the street to talk to a neighbor from the road, and got caught, you'd get a $750-$1000 fine. "Stay at Home" meant "Stay the fuck home you douche bag". The result? We're almost out of it. We had about 2 new cases this weekend in my area, and can go out, but masks are mandatory in some stores. Looks like they're going to make it mandatory in all stores BECAUSE IT WORKS. We still can't have a face-to-face with the doctor. All appointments are over the phone. All this means we'er still fighting it.
With very little cases in this area, you'd think people would go back to the way it was. Nope. Hand sanitizer is at every entrance to every store, and every exit. Then I use more once I'm home. Most of the people I know think of this like you would a "Dry Run". Practice for the second wave.
If the second wave hits as hard as the second wave of the Spanish Flu did, only the sheep will be left alive.
And... it's NOT like a bad flu.

The reason the Spanish Flu mysteriously disappeared was that it had no one left to infect. It burned itself out. The rest of the people were immune.
Instead of listening to two non-professional conspiracy theorists on YouTube, maybe you should be researching in more reputable sources.
