McConnell suggests states seek bankruptcy protections..

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) suggests the states seek bankruptcy protections rather than taking a federal bailout, invoking criticism from both Democrats and some Republicans, including a tweet by Republican congressman Peter T. King (N.Y.) that McConnell is the “Marie Antoinette of the Senate.”

Can the federal giverment file bankruptcy ater they take another 7 trillion?

The world would benefit from absolute bankruptcy. The fiat/petro dollar is a bullshit system from the word go. Return to a gold/ silver/ platinum based economy. As long as the fed keeps printing useless pieces of paper nothing will get better. Pretty sure this is exactly what China does... print print print

actually China has been trading in that paper for metallic gold, in high gear since april 2013.

they Hoovered up 1300 tons from Bank of England in 2Q 2013.

BoE gold holdings went from 6500 tons to 5200 tons by end of June 2013.

China doesn't admit to more than 2000 tons.

But they have Hoovered up
2013, 2014, 15, 16 - 2000 tons a year
17, 18, 19 - 1000 tons low estimate

so that's another 11,000 tons for China.

it's only about 45 Million a ton, well maybe 51 Million+ now.

And they have $Trillions.

Anybody notice seed potatoes sold out or arent available?

Same up here. In fact there's a run on seeds right now so get them while you can. I already have a couple years worth but I'll get more (for freshness). My veggie seeds are going from the garden shed to my bar fridge along with my weed seeds. Time to get serious about my veggie seeds.

We've doubled our already large garden this year and potatoes are going in a very big no till hay bed. Lots of root vegetables and cabbage going in. Last month I bought 50 lbs and they're starting to sprout. I'll save them for planting time when I'll cut them up by the eyes for planting.

Time to get a dog I guess.

No. They'll just devalue the dollar a la Zimbabwe.

gold is only valuable as you think it is. ditto diamonds, although you can make some killer tools/abrasives with diamonds. gold is too soft for bullets unless you alloy it with silver. both make excellent electrical contact coatings though. make a decent boat anchor i guess. i see no real use for it except to coat cheap trinkets to trade to the gullible...

'It's irresponsible and it's dangerous': Experts rip Trump's idea of injecting disinfectant to treat COVID-19
"It’s a common method that people utilize when they want to kill themselves," one doctor said. Here are the facts about poisonous chemicals.
"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?" Trump said during his daily briefing at the White House. "Because, you see, it gets on the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it'd be interesting to check that. So that you're going to have to use medical doctors, but it sounds — it sounds interesting to me."

Imagine being such a simp and not doing basic research. Injecting UV? Using hydrogen peroxide (a disinfectant) nah that’s crazy...

Do it. I dare you.

After a Homeland Security official mentioned the ability of disinfectants like bleach to kill the coronavirus on surfaces, Trump remarked on the effectiveness.

Let's pretend he was referencing your articles. Don't forget... you can watch his brain working in real time on this one.

These results suggest that extracellular hydrogen peroxide, whether of exogenous or endogenous origin, does not have antibacterial activity in the blood of animals having even low levels of catalase.

Do you even read this shit? LOL.

A test from 1985 injecting mice and rabbits with peroxide, which was ineffective, is what you post.

Your UV paper says that it remains highly controversial in the first paragraph of the abstract. I read no farther.

Let's not forget that tRump said
"Supposing we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light ..."

You got that needle full of peroxide ready yet?

As much as most people don't want to hear it, there are a couple of studies going on that are showing promise with hydroxychloroquine.

As long as the patients are being given it at the earliest onset of symptoms, it appears it's effectiveness as an anti viral is very promising. It's really no different than tamiflu that way. If you give it too late, it does nothing to help ease symptoms or reduce length of recovery.

Which is exactly what happened with that VA "study". Which was a giant piece of crap and will be pulled as quickly as the Stanford study which fell completely apart under peer review.

I'd like to see more randomized studies with an addition of azithromycin and zinc.

Awesome. Let's take 100 billion dollars they were going to give to corporations for a bailout and fund a shit ton of research into any crazy idea that might work to kill this thing. Anything is on the table.

Let's turn the CDC and the FDA into massive data collectors and in turn make all this research publicly available after ensuring anonymity of the test subjects.

Then offer up a ridiculous cash prize to whoever can "crack the code" of how to defeat this thing. Kind of what happened with the Space X program. Get the best and brightest from around the world to work on this.

But that would require a functioning federal government. Of which we don't have.

Seems like a lot of seeds are harder to get or unavailable. Johnny’s select Seeds for instance will only sell to large buyers this year which is new.

For potatoes this year I bought the 5$ bags of little ones they sell alongside the regulars at the grocery store. Can get mixed types or straight yellow types here.

Others are reporting same and that store bought wont sprout eyes.
Seed Tomatoes are somewhat available here but I even question the productivity of last years seed crop.
This is all very suspicious and disturbing.

Couldn’t find seed potatoes this year, so I sprouted ones from the groceries, as it’s worked very well in the past.
Best to go for the cheap varieties ime as they spray the ‘exclusive’ varieties to stop them sprouting in the cupboard. I’ve got 3 rows of 7 breaking soil at the moment :tiphat:

Edit: sprinkling of slug pellets in the trench when planting as the bastard slugs live underground most of the time..... sprinkling of grass clippings underneath also helps stop scab.
