Coronavirus.. outlook

I am ready to bug out...

Self comtained...deep creek cedar glen....pan for GOLD..

Cheers!!

Good luck!!

If you're serious, there's still folks in the bush/woods who sometimes seem to assume their lack of respect for space/distancing equates to a right to violate yours.

A friend from an isolated coastal community pulled up to a dock at the nearest town in South Central Alaska, a town with somewhat greater services, with plans of re-stocking, and while they were still tying their skiff up to the dock, a car load of 5-6 persons with small kids pulled up next to them, and one younger child ran toward them in what would normally be considered friendly greetings; apparently not well instructed by the child's parents re. current social protocol.

So... they're out there, and seem to believe that THEIR looseness in behavior ought to be yours as well.

Again, good luck.

10 yards is a lot to move with a shovel over a short period of time, unless you have some form of (motorized) equipment.

10 yards of creek or pit gravel, in my world, equates to numerous days in bed, groaning... loudly at times.

i was trying to find out what the rules are in Oregon.

though it seems DEQ is happy to hand out $10K fines for almost anything, the general rule of thumb is, 1 1/2 cubic yards a day.

you can move that.

and, if you are working by hand and not using power equipment, you can generally work as much as you want, no permits.

Its the same in oklahoma and missouri, trumpsters have perfected the art of asholism. A missouri friend with multiple health issues reported to me last night something similar. She only goes to town to walk on the walking path at a city park. She has no safe place to walk at home and needs the exercise to stay healthy. Her daughter and husband are very protextive and do all her shopping. Anyway strangers on the walking path just walked by within a few feet. My daughter had the same situation at a store in a neighboring county. Out buying groceries yesterday i saw people hugging crowding in lines at walmart and wearing no ppe.

He is tearing our country in two.
I hope whatever he is getting is worth it.

Can any of you vaccination believers tell the rest of us what Medical School Bill Gates went to and got his Phd. ?

:tiphat:
anyone that reads knows Gates dropped out of college to design/build computers/make more damn money than trump inherited, (LOTS MORE!) made, lost or stole?
would you bother admitting Bill Gates is in no way involved in the medical research being done (other than trying to keep us alive by paying for the research ?) when you have done that, you can try to explain why his doing so is malevolent. are you sure you are not shaggyballs mother?

So was everyone supposed to get off the walking path to make her paranoia OK and everyone just cater to HER wants and needs ? Sounds like a good liberal to me.

Once upon a time in this country people respected privacy, decorum and courtesy. I was alive and remember.

Anyone who thinks bill gates does anything for the greater good is a PT Barnum customer. He is ultimately about making more money and having power to further the agenda of he and his fugly wife.

10 yards of gravel is 60-65 decent wheelbarrows worth, heavy wheelbarrows worth. 10 yards hardwood mulch is 80 fat, large wheelbarrows worth. Some landscape trivia i have accumulated “in the field”

Haven’t had a lot of success searching for gold myself, but am lucky enough to have access to areas to look. Trying different methods, but focusing more on using a metal detector in cracks in different rock formations.

Wife’s co worker caught the covid19, has been in quarantine for a week. Not good, but not a huge surprise either, kind of a waiting game for everyone as far as covid showing up, but especially anyone in health care.

If she wants more space than the sidewalk will allow, wouldn't it be appropriate for her to make the room she desires?

Why the F is this Trump's fault when that F'in foochie told everyone NOT wearing masks was OK?

At least people wised up and started to take their own health in their own hands, and are wearing whatever masks they can come up with.

You support the hugest conman & most treasonous creature in USA history. Realize that your "hero" has lost more $ than anyone in US history and is many billions of dollars in debt to Russian mobsters that are partners with Putin - he will not release his tax returns ( that he promised us he would release multiple times) because they show he has lost all the $$$$$$$$ he was handed by his Father. To simplify it for you, his debts greatly exceed his true net worth. Yes he is bankrupt.

You are a willing victim of fraud who refuses to look at the truth.

You have NEVER taken the time to examine your "beliefs", which are no more real than Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.
Seeing the tRump crime family destroyed will be MAGA .

I personly use an goldmaster 4d. Then Md 20 pinpoint whe craiging..

Setting up the sluces in the river bed is easy.

Trying to stay days and nightts finding color is the hard part...you need a group effort to effectively move overburden to find deep placer...

South fork san Gabriel l.a county is open but picked thru..

When u pull up to the turnout and see men digging 6-9 foot holes...is inspiring...Gold oz...1700. finding an oz...rare..finding a gram? Better.

Bearing in mind that's 1700 pure. Gold extracted by folks at a place known to me runs, for example 82 to 86%. So they get that percentage of the 1700, unless nuggets or other forms of jewelry gold, which brings a greater price for its intended purpose.

Folks I knew decades ago would do guerilla sluicing on Federal turf, inside a particular Park, and stashed their gear in bushes, etc., when not in use.

The operation I referred to earlier in this post is a commercial mine that has been played in for 100 years+, still produces some gold, but the days of amazing giddiness-inspiring finds there are long in the rear-view.

Gravel is a shot-ton heavier than most other materials. Like shoveling concrete.

And yes, if on the proper type of claim (not a small public-access recreations area, but a claim) a 4wheel-drive back-hoe is a bare minimum. Many are using track hoes of varying size, the greater of which you can fit motor vehicle or 2 into the bucket.

Many decent size, but family-run claims will use a D-8 or D-9 to push gravel into a pile, which is then fed into a 'shaker' by a hoe.

MF, I once was much stronger than I allow myself to be now. Spine surgery a 1-1/2 years ago has me being much more cautious in what I crank on with my upper torso and arms. The days I debate whether I'm good enough to haul in a large halibut, should I hook into one. Especially knowing there's a $15,000 prize for such a critter, at the top.
