This Is Israel's Doomsday Bunker For Top Officials That Has Been Activated For COVID-19
The deep underground facility was built for the Israeli

sreal has activated its National Management Center (NMC), a continuity of government (COG) bunker that looks right out of a science fiction movie. The facility serves as an extremely hardened command and control site for top Israeli officials so that they can continue to run the country during a major crisis. The spinning-up of the National Management Center is a result of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country and the potential instability and strategic implications that could go along with the outbreak. As The War Zone recently noted the U.S. government has done the same, activating its Cheyenne Mountain underground complex and other hardened installations as the virus spreads through the U.S. population and the United States military.

Hi.

They have been saying until recently to wear a mask is not useful and it doesn't prevent you to get the virus. They have been lying. Now they said it can be usefful but masks have been run out.

If you cannot get a mask even a handkerchied, scarf or any piece of cloth can be useful. Most people infected don't realize the are propagating the coronavirus.

Use masks even if people may think you are going to attack the stage coach.

About a week ago, there was a woman who'd been displaced as a result of domestic violence, and she was offering (via craigslist in Anchorage) that if folks would bring fabric to her, she would use her time to stitch masks for free for all who asked.

Not an isolated story, but another example of those with little or nothing of their own, helping others as part of the Yin & Yang of the current view of our coping on the whole.

The Bailout disagreements are coming..

Experts warn about big dollar fraud in $2.2 trillion coronavirus relief package
Former watchdog warns one program could be "be defrauded in massive ways."

MORE: House members angry at being forced to return to Washington on short notice amid COVID-19 outbreak: Sources
They see the $350 billion in funding earmarked for small businesses in the form of forgivable loans as particularly susceptible to abuse. Millions of small business owners began applying to banks for the loans on Friday, though many applicants and lenders experienced problems with the program's rollout.

My understanding is that even for those who are hand-to-mouth wage earners, the relief, if it IS relief, is at least 12 weeks out from being reality.

News this morning or yesterday also stated that the individual $1,200 checks will be proportional for persons (households?) making over $75k/year. I agree that those who are comfortable don't need as much as those who are not, but I also know that a household income of $75k, while once big money, is middle class these days, and there's no guarantee those folks are still receiving any of that salary, or that their jobs will be there when ever this lightens up.

Pam Martens, from the on-line publication, 'Wall Street on Parade', has been following the 'crisis' the major banks on Wall St. were setting themselves up for, since WELL before any of this actually affected their markets; 2008, 2.0.

There's no time like a crisis for con artists to upscale their fleecing.

Edit: to clarify, we've got a larger freezer nearly completely full of grub, a fair bit of dry staples, a fuel oil/heating oil tank that has more than half of next winter's fuel in it, extra gas in jugs and drums in the barn (not part of this crisis planning, just apart of our reality), laundry detergent, a well, cleansers, bleach, etc. Lots of stuff to stay tight if we need or choose to. We don't need the $1,200 here. Not at the moment, anyway. But there are many who do.

We know folks in the bush and elsewhere, who haven't had a driver's license or a bank account in decades. The likelihood of those needy persons receiving any stimulus check is.... pretty damned slim. They're not linked in to receive it if they wanted to.

Americans Stuck in Russia...

Hundreds of Americans are stuck in Russia after the country abruptly suspended international air traffic on Friday in response to the coronavirus epidemic, forcing the last flight bound for the U.S. to cancel its takeoff even as it was waiting on the runway.

Florida News...

The Recession Bread Lines Are Forming in Mar-a-Lago’s Shadow
In Palm Beach a diner races to feed laid off workers. Food banks and pantries see surge in demand and long-term need.

Though it’s just a four-minute drive across the lagoon from Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s private club, and ten minutes from the Palm Beach outposts of Chanel and Louis Vuitton, Howley’s diner has become an emblem of America’s stark new economic reality.

With more than 10 million people across the nation suddenly unemployed, bread lines are forming in the shadows of privileged enclaves like this one in Florida.

Italy......

Cautious optimism as Italy shows initial signs of crisis slowing
A slowing rate of hospitalisations requiring intensive care may mean the peak of Italy's crisis is within sight.

Turin, Italy - Initial signs of a slowdown in Italy's coronavirus epidemic, the world's deadliest, have started appearing across the country in recent days, say officials, providing a beacon of cautious hope to other Western nations where authorities are implementing similar containment strategies - but where the infection rate is still growing fast.

ID Experts: More Will Die Than Predicted

Anticipate a higher death rate from COVID-19 than originally predicted. That's the message from leaders of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), who spoke at a press briefing yesterday.

Previous estimates of 100,000 to 240,000 deaths were based on assumptions that Americans would cooperate with proper social distancing — a practice that is not happening at optimal levels, according to infectious disease leaders.

The society highlights what it's going to take to mitigate and contain the virus, and it provides further insights on test accuracy, social distancing, and containment strategies.

FDA Authorizes Rapid Antibody Test

A newly available antibody test may help evaluate the SARS-CoV-2 virus in 20 minutes or less. The US Food and Drug Administration has granted Cellex an emergency use authorization to market the first rapid antibody test for COVID-19.

The test, which indicates the presence of IgM, IgG, or both antibodies against the virus, demonstrated a nearly 94% positive percent agreement with reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) during premarket testing and a 96% negative percent agreement with RT-PCR.

MDedge explains how the test works and that negative test results do not rule out infection.

Muzzling of Healthcare Workers Can Threaten Public Health

Hospitals who attempt to silence frontline workers about poor conditions, including lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators, are putting clinicians and the public at risk, physician groups say. In recent weeks, healthcare professionals have reported being reprimanded or even terminated for publicly discussing PPE shortages or sharing safety concerns. Other clinicians say they can't share their experiences for fear of reprisal by their hospitals.

COVID-19 and Skin Conditions

A new study by dermatologists in Italy finds that a marked portion of COVID-19 patients may experience skin manifestations. Of 88 COVID-19 patients studied, about one fifth developed skin manifestations, according to an analysis conducted at the Alessandro Manzoni Hospital in Lecco, Italy. About 44% of those with skin manifestations experienced skin eruptions at symptom onset, while the rest occurred following hospitalization.

MDedge reports what type of skin manifestations were identified in the analysis and whether the skin ailments correlated with disease severity.

Mental Health Worsening

A perfect storm of negative effects from the pandemic is wreaking havoc on Americans' mental health. In a poll conducted March 25-30, 45% of Americans reported that stress from the health crisis was harming their mental health, up from 32% just 2 weeks earlier, a Kaiser Family Foundation analysis finds.

Women were more likely than men to report a major negative impact on their mental health as were blacks and Hispanics, compared with whites, according to the survey. MDedge details what type of worries are fueling the spike in negative feelings.

Ventilators Arrive in New York

New York is set to receive much-needed ventilators thanks to the Chinese government. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) says 1000 donated ventilators are scheduled to arrive in New York by today.

During a press conference today, Cuomo said the donations were made by the Joseph and Clara Tsai Foundation and facilitated by the Chinese government, the same foundation that donated 1 million surgical masks, 1 million KN95 masks, and more than 100,000 pairs of goggles to the state. The state is also set to receive ventilators from Oregon's stockpile. Cuomo said Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D) volunteered to provide New York with 140 ventilators.

The donations appeared to come just in time, as Cuomo said earlier in the week that the state had just 6 days left before running out of ventilators in the state's stockpile.

IVERMECTIN AGAINST CORONAVIRUS...

Ivermectin is an inhibitor of the COVID-19 causative virus (SARS-CoV-2) in vitro.
A single treatment able to effect ∼5000-fold reduction in virus at 48h in cell culture.
Ivermectin is FDA-approved for parasitic infections, and therefore has a potential for repurposing.
Ivermectin is widely available, due to its inclusion on the WHO model list of essential medicines.

Abstract
Although several clinical trials are now underway to test possible therapies, the worldwide response to the COVID-19 outbreak has been largely limited to monitoring/containment. We report here that Ivermectin, an FDA-approved anti-parasitic previously shown to have broad-spectrum anti-viral activity in vitro, is an inhibitor of the causative virus (SARS-CoV-2), with a single addition to Vero-hSLAM cells 2 hours post infection with SARS-CoV-2 able to effect ∼5000-fold reduction in viral RNA at 48 h. Ivermectin therefore warrants further investigation for possible benefits in humans.

Ivermectin is an FDA-approved broad spectrum anti-parasitic agent1 that in recent years we, along with other groups, have shown to have anti-viral activity against a broad range of viruses2, 3, 4, 5 in vitro. Originally identified as an inhibitor of interaction between the human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) integrase protein (IN) and the importin (IMP) α/β1 heterodimer responsible for IN nuclear import6, Ivermectin has since been confirmed to inhibit IN nuclear import and HIV-1 replication5. Other actions of ivermectin have been reported7, but ivermectin has been shown to inhibit nuclear import of host (eg.8,9) and viral proteins, including simian virus SV40 large tumour antigen (T-ag) and dengue virus (DENV) non-structural protein 5

Trillions for the Jews (e.g. Hedge funds and their customers),

Billions for the Gentiles.

As it was in 2008.

Americans are SO gullible.

One of the Evan. Christians at the Y told me,
"when the Jews commit crimes, it's a sign that Jesus is coming back. It's part of me going to Heaven."

Wall Street Had Cut 68,000 Jobs and Received Trillions in Emergency Loans Prior to COVID-19 Anywhere in the World

By Pam Martens and Russ Martens: April 1, 2020 ~
26, 2020

On March 26 Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell went on the Today show to deliver one message: “There is nothing fundamentally wrong with our economy.” Recently U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has appeared on the White House lawn to tell reporters that this is nothing like the last financial crisis. Fed regional bank presidents have appeared on cable news asserting that the Wall Street banks have plenty of capital and today’s economic distress is caused solely by the coronavirus. Even New York Times columnist and perpetual Wall Street cheerleader, Paul Krugman, was on CNBC this week reassuring viewers that today’s problem was not like the last financial crisis.

And yet – the facts keep getting in the way of this “official” narrative.

The first coronavirus COVID-19 case was discovered in China in December 2019 and didn’t become a major issue in the United States until February 2020. But on October 7, 2019 we reported that Wall Street banks had announced a staggering 68,000 job cuts as the Fed pumped $310 billion more in unprecedented loans to Wall Street. That doesn’t sound like there was “nothing fundamentally wrong with our economy,” the narrative that Powell is pushing.

On October 9 we reported that Powell had appeared at a speaking event in Denver at the National Association of Business Economists and acknowledged that a larger, long-term bailout of Wall Street was on its way. That also doesn’t sound like everything was fine in the financial world before the coronavirus hit.

On January 27, 2020, again before any reported death from coronavirus in the U.S., we reported that Fed Repos Have Plowed $6.6 Trillion to Wall Street in Four Months; That’s 34% of Its Feeding Tube During Epic Financial Crash. Again, that doesn’t sound like there was nothing fundamentally wrong before the coronavirus hit.

Now the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the federal regulator of national banks, has finally released its quarterly “Report on Bank Trading and Derivatives Activities” for the last quarter of 2019. The new report shows just how highly-leveraged the biggest Wall Street banks are if you include their exposure to derivatives. The chart above is based on data from that report (see Table 4 in the Appendix).

Goldman Sachs Bank USA is the poster child for the insanity inherent in the U.S. banking system (with JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup’s Citibank not far behind). It has $228.8 billion in assets, $34.5 billion in risk-based capital, and $42.2 trillion in notional derivatives (face amount). Federal regulators are relying on Goldman Sachs Bank USA to have hedged $42.2 trillion in derivatives so that its netted out total credit exposure from all of its derivative contracts is just $118.4 billion rather than $42.2 trillion — which is still 344 percent of its risk-based capital.

That’s a big leap of faith given that JPMorgan Chase in 2012 had no idea its derivative traders in London were hiding massive losses on their derivative trades until a media leak brought on an investigation. JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon told the media at the time that it was all just “a tempest in a teapot.” But once the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations looked into the matter, it turned out to be a $6.2 billion loss on derivatives. The London traders had used the insured deposits of the bank as if they were chips in a gambling casino.

Even a calamity like that, which launched an FBI probe, did not move the Federal Reserve to tame these banking behemoths on Wall Street.

On June 27, 2017 Janet Yellen, then Chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve, spoke at an event at the British Academy in London. She opined as follows about the U.S. financial system:
“Would I say there will never, ever be another financial crisis? You know probably that would be going too far, but I do think we are much safer, and I hope that it will not be in our lifetimes and I don’t believe it will be.”

Yellen’s comment came nine years after the greatest Wall Street banking collapse since the Great Depression and the largest-in-history Federal Reserve bailout of Wall Street amounting to $29 trillion – which the Federal Reserve battled for more than two years in court to keep a secret from the American people.

Now, for only the second time in its 107-year history, the Fed has once again attached a multi-trillion-dollar feeding tube to Wall Street banks – a feeding tube it first put in place on September 17, 2019 – more than five months before the first death from coronavirus in the U.S.

At the close of the Today interview with Powell last week, the interviewer, Savannah Guthrie, said this might be the first time in the more than 60 years of the program that a Federal Reserve Chairman had appeared on the show to do a live interview. That will give you a sense of just how important it is for the Federal Reserve to set the narrative that the serially miscreant mega Wall Street banks that it has negligently supervised for the past decade, didn’t cause today’s financial crisis.

Aprox. 4000 deaths so far.

So it seems they are expecting us to have 20 times the amount of deaths in the future.
How can that be?

They would need to be flooding the hospitals right now.
And that is just not happening.
