zep youve got to let me take that nice pointer out for some pheasant action this fall. what a nice looking dog. do you hunt him? and if so what kind of birds?and if you dont hunt does he still loc up or point song birds in the yard?my setter when the bird season is out of season he will point the birds in my bird feeders. I will look out in the morning to make sure they are still there and he will be stiff and motionless point a robin on the back lawn......crazy bird nut dog. the only reason i still hunt is becuase he loves it soo much.

just a couple more hehe

just a couple more hehe

I couldn't help but throw a couple more pics up, we were hanging out earlier and I tried to talk my guy into taking a couple of pics but he kind of wasn't into it initally, giving me the 'quit buggin me' look hehe:

He decided he was down though so I got a shot of him jumping up and giving me five, watch out for those teeth lol:

I don't quite know how I got him to model my new Roma scarf but he was a sport about it, he's got a little lupo in him :pimp3: Actually the breed originated in Rome about 2000 years ago, the bigger animals were kept to fight other wild animals in the Colosseum and the smaller ones went with the army to herd the livestock the army took along for food. They ended up in what is now Germany and the breed was renewed in the middle ages in the town of Rottweil, named for the red tile roofs common to the local houses:

Hey Mass, you are more than welcome to borrow my pointer this fall. Only catch is i get to get in on that pheasant action too. Then if you want, you can swing down here for some quail. I havent shot anything over her, but i do let her bust up some coveys and she finds just about every single afterwards too.

Show Me You're Nuts

Show Me You're Nuts

Here's the other 2 pics I wanted to put up last week.

This is our Mickey, again, with our cockatiel - Spike.
(No birds were injured during the taking of this picture  )

They always play nice together.

This is Mickey with his 1/2 brother Cuddles (Maine Coons).
