It actually looks like the most excellent pheno of ssh I had back in the day.
It smells piney, I bet it will take on a franinscence type smell when dried. I tell you it looks much better than anything in have found in ssh in years.

I wish he would consider s1'ing that nevills cut, that would probably end my search for the perfect haze.
I grow haze all the time, I don't stumble upon really excellent hazes very often.
I had another female, it was nice quality, good potency but it is just average weed. It hermed a bit and seeded about 25% of itself. Safe to say that pheno is going in the trash.
No sign of male flowers on my choice cut.

Honestly all 3 phenos in my tent look the healthiest of all 15 strains im testing now
Its only in week 4 so nothing interesting s just yet
But they have some serious vigor
I also have 1 old school haze in there
And my ssdh hermied on me
But i cant wait to see the others in a few weeks

OJD made a thread about his fem lines herming. Said to pick them off the flowering seed plant and usually they won't come back. Said the clones should be hermie free( as long as it was only a couple male parts on the seed mother, not full on transvestite).
Yea i always take 2 cuts from seed then stash 1 and run the other with the mother from seed
They hermied equally after being picked

Ojd have you thought about that the 90's haze kind of is a haze C backcross with the SDV3 as an outcross?

^^^good luck on your hunt, I'm seeking the elusive incense too. Both my 90's hazes ended up as nice plants, but both were all lemon-lime w no incense. I've got a cple more to try too.

If there incense in these they will hit the garbage can
I have 2 phenos of 90s haze and 1 old school haze going
Plus another pheno of 90 haze in veg
Plus 2 simply irresistible that someone waa cool enough to hook me up with that is said too have the dead on incense smell
We will see if he is not pulling my chain

I had 2 90s hazes, one was pretty average all around, it hermed.
The second was much better, buds look hazy but it grows stumpy like an indica with fat calyxs. It grows stumpy and yellows fast. Buds are very small from clone.
It smells like strong pine with hints of grapefruit mixed with moth balls.
It's pretty good, I don't know if I'd call it a keeper but it's better than most. Not my end all be all haze plant however.
I'd like to see a straight s1 of that nevils cut.

So I'm coming to report my 2 90s phenos at 7 weeks
First off I want to say I'm digging these plants
Pheno 1 is surprisingly dense at week 7
I mean super dense to be a haze it actually looks like a kush
I've never seen a dense haze before it's freaky hopefully ojd can shed some light on this
I'm not getting the lemon or lime people are reporting
I'm actually getting a deep funk
I'm not sure if it's to early but it's a hard to describe smell it's funky and dark not like typical haze has me excited I hope it's the church
The second pheno is dead on fox tail haze
Straight spice hazey smell no lemon or lime
Once again it's early in the game but her but are still filling in not like pheno#1

It's a 11-12 weeker
Honestly I'm thinking of buying more of these to see what's really in here
