ive got a question, on my biggest plant, a set of the lower leaves is still green, but when i touch it its crunchy... what is wrong? should i just pinch them off?

sorry, i dont have my camera right now.
the leaves are the 2 lowest ones, and the very tips are hard and crunchy and very brittle. the other part of the same leaf doesnt have this problem, it only seems to be the tips...

no, its one of my seedlings in the promix... it was planted on october 6th... a set of the lower leaves, parts are crunchy...
