Compact SOG with CFL's

Hey Dr I am kinda confused through all the posts though, any chance you would post the exact dimensions of the flower, mother, and clone shelf, and what lights you have in each one and where they are at (full cab pic would be great if you can). I am very interested and am playing with sketching up a cab.

Doc, what kind of lights are the momma's under? wattage? cfls as well?

Im working on a grow inspired by yours, its going to be a smaller number of plants flowering but will be a perpetual micro grow with cfls. At the moment Im working on my momma box its about 2.3 sq ft.

can you give us the dimensions of your flower/clone box?

~~It's a old kitchen cab. the clone shelf is 23"x12"x14"~~
~~Flowering if I remember right is 24" x 14" x 28"~~

What's the lineage of Chesaw, do you know? I'm really curious about this reveg aspect of it, it seems like something that could be easily overlooked with a lot of strains because revegging isn't a real common practice.

I'm almost done with her .....it's almost time to cube and make some seeds

She stretches like a Sativa...with the weight of an Indy
and finishes in 9 weeks....The Mrs. prefers it at 7 weeks....she says 9 weeks makes her sleepy...lol
I smoke her from my morning coffee to my Bed-Time Bong hits
She finishes Outdoors(not up here)But grown in Cali. on Oct. 20-25th

I did read it all, even just his posts, but I don't know if he changed the setup in his cab any but I have more than one set of info. I was just curious if he could clear the confusion for me and list the dimensions of the box as a whole, the dimensions of each shelf, and if it's not to much trouble for him, what lights are where. Thank you though I appreciate you trying to help. I am just really inspired by the doc and would like to sketch up something but needed more info.

Do you plants take a little longer to flower since your not using a HPS? and do your plants get just as tall under CFL's as a HPS?

I did, even filtered and read through a few times, but I'm thinking maybe the doc made some adjustments to his cab after giving the information cause I have 2 sets of info. I was just trying to see if the doc himself might clear this up for us by answering on the dimensions for the box and each shelf and well as what lights where. Thanks in advance doc.

Doc I am beginning my run and i really must ask you how in the hell did you take 1k clones a week?! I took 200 and wanted to kill myself!!! Jesus bro you had to be hella dedicated. But i'm gonna take 200 more in 2 more weeks which should get me the numbers i want, then i'll work with them and try to see if i can get close to the weight you have gotten. I'm doing the C99's right now but i would like to be doing Atomic NL's or SD's but since their both basically sold out every where i guess i should give the LUI a shot or do you think Black Domina would be better?

you could start seeds with that but you will need more for everything else... i start my seeds under 50 watts 6500k color.. and the mothers stay under 50 watts of 6500k also (they are bonsai mothers so i don't want them to grow fast thats the reason for only 50 watts ).. but my flower room is 208 watts... but for cfl's i like to keep minimum watts at 150.. just go to wally world and by 2 more 42's for like 9 bux a pop and then just upgrade as you get money and as the plants get bigger.. if not save up for better stuff

I don't mean to jack Dr.Bud's thread here, but...

Sure you can! You can definitely grow some good ganja under that wattage, but you have to have it inclosed in a very small and highly reflective space with heavy ScrOG'ing and I wouldn't expect to yeild more than half an ounce at the most. That's usually not enough to satisfy most growers, but if that's all you're looking for or you're just growing for the fun of it than check out the "Nanomachine" link in my signature. I built a 100% stealth PC case and did a pretty nice grow around one single 42 watt CFL and ended up with a 7" tall Serious Seeds Bubble Gum that yeilded about 10 grams of some sweet sticky smoke.
So if I can do it with a single 42 watt bulb, I'm sure you can do it with two 20's

So.. i just read through this 39 page thread of probably the most invaluable information that one could get on a perpetual grow. Dr., i just want to say thank you for all your advice, visual and mathmatical, more just in general your help to all the amature growers that actually want to learn something about this art. Also for your cooperation with some of the few small minded people that decided to speak out, and soon relized that they shouldnt have.. Maybe one day they will step back and ponder the possiblitly that someone before them has long mastered this skill.. You are a testiment of time and diligence. Thank you again.

I couldn't find anything related to flushing at the end of harvest. Do you flush differently with the small pots compared to larger 1 gallon pots.

i think The Dr. uses a dipping method, i believe this staves off any built up salt and left over nutes, im sure there is still a flush of some sort though.....

The last 2 weeks of a plants life in the"Flowering Box"..........it is submerged in PHed pure water only at each watering
