Correction: after closer inspection I found somme double serration ! But still quite rare.

One thing i have noticed recently growing several varieties with double serrations is that they show more on larger leaves on bigger plants.

Is anyone aware of how colombian gold compares to colombian black?
Never ran into available colombian gold seeds except wos. Had to pass on those due to not trusting the purity after growing a few of their other offerings. The colombian black was my first pure sativa, kicked my ass while it taught me a lot.

After a devestating launch, my CG72 project is finally going great! I have 3 beautiful females showing preflowers and one male. They are bushy from bending the tops down and are right arount 1ft tall. Now I am trying to decide whether I want to just pinch the tops or attempt my first Screen O'green. I am leaning towards the screen :)

greetings friends hope all of you and family are doing fine during these difficult times, in previous post, planted the cg72's have lost some , due to the high winds and temp staying in the upper 90 degrees, hot and dry, however good news three plants, cg72's, aredoing real well and showing their Colombian sativa traits, the plan is to cross pollinate them with the w.o.s.cg to put more strength and endurance into the line and plant those seeds for 2021the goal is to preserve this line as time goes. have a good day, peace mike tea

thank you friend for the response the weather in Oklahoma has been unpredictable high winds temperatures in the upper 90 ninety degrees hot dry here how ever three cg72's have managed to thrive through this hardship, going to put a lot of tender loving care, on these three survivers, due to their resistance to the heat and wind which destroyed the other cg72's these will be cross pollinated with the other Colombians thank you one, will keep you updated on these three take care friend stay safe, mike teaagain thank you.

These plants went from being some of the worst saddest looking seedlings I've ever sprouted, to being some of the most gorgeous lustrous plants I've ever grown! I love how bendably and flexible they are. These plants are flourishing now that they are in large fabric pots and have been getting worm castings tea and warmer temps. I almost abandoned the whole project at one point early on. I am really enjoying watching their vigorous growth.

hey all...longtime off n on lurker in the forums...appreciate all of you.

So my friend just popped seeds from a trip that his at the time writer for Skunk, high times, cannabis culture, and others attained while on a trip to Argentina in '11-'12. She said she got em from guys that owned a carnivorous plant store. It was a connection via one of those magazines she wrote for so I he n I feel like their legitimacy is possible. This is first post im trying to load pics so if I don't succeed in linking in here I'll post separate pics of the original baggies and what was written on them.

He just planted a week ago and they have all come up. Going into 12-12 as soon as they show some root structure signs to keep em short and to save time.

Pretty excited about what could be after finding myself in the rabbithole that is these yesteryear lineage tropical sativas.

P.s. he is also doing black maui and devils tit that I bought from snowhigh direct at emerald cup in '15 and via online seedseller respectively. Unfortunately we have had really bad luck with Snows gear but keep on giving him another chance. We did 2 packs of kaleidoscope and it was allllll bunkkkk (my friend has won cups so he knows what he's doing). Also did another trial with devils tit and black maui before but 80% didn't come up and ones that did didn't make the cut to flower or were male. Hoping this third time with snows gear is the charm.

My male CG72 seems to be a hermie. Oh well, I don't see this as a big deal.

What do you guys think? Will my seed re-production not be worthwhile? Or, is it just normal tropical sativa landrace genetics and something to embrace? Will I still have a good amount of true female seeds in the seedbatch that comes out of this?

Just a reminder, I have 3 females and 1 male that is hermi now.

I appreciate your thoughts.

^^^ What's your photoperiod during vegging and flowering?

Using a hermie to plant to breed with is bad news. Unless you want lots of hermies next time.

Photoperiod during veg fluctuated a bit mostly between 14-16 hrs. But I eventually settled into 14hrs for at least a month of veg and they seemed great. They all started preflowering and I switched to 12 hrs to start bloom on July 4th. None of the females are herming, but the male is now putting out some female flowers with pistils.

At this point it's too late, I'm almost done with him. he's pollenated lots of flowers and I've already got some seeds formed. some are already mature, which surprised me. I was just gonna give him a few more days to pollinate one female which doesn't have many seeds developing yet. I just noticed the female flowers today. they are hard to see but there are quite a few. I guess there is no going back now. I'm curious if it will make it harder to sprout quality plants from the seeds which come out of it.
