I know that the HB 1284 has been passed and will be signed into law, but I am having trouble finding info on the SB 109. Has that bill passed both houses as well? or is it still in the house awaiting a vote?
Maybe im just missing something, anyone with a link on the latest version of the bill and the status would be appreciated.

Thanks
G

Well...I am about to harvest....looks like I will squeeze in with this crop....

It looks like we still have til 7/1/2011 before it all goes into effect...they just have to prove they will be able to produce 70% by 9/1/2010...not actually have to implement it -- the way I read it...

also i will ask again

what about all the shops who paid the $5k to the city of Denver by March 1? That was barely 10 weeks ago?

the denver law has language to the effect that they are not responsible if any future changes to local or state law shatter all your dreams...they've got extortion down to a science....belie dat

That's a real "grey" area....if you are growing "offsite" for a dispensary, you cannot grow at home, or elsewhere for that matter.
This is about all I can find, where does it say you can't do it at home?

Drug felons are out for now, that will be challenged and probably replaced with "good moral character."

is this still true for employees as well, or just owners???

are you telling me that instead of transporting ladies, i shoulda been raping them, as then i would be 'ok' to work in a dispensary?

(sorry to be crude...this law is)

It's my understanding that it's only the licensee who needs to be a 2 year resident and be clean of felonies. In the section detailing Managers and Employees it only says they have to be current residents of colorado. Hopefully Warren calls me back soon and confirms this.

Funny how he has time to post here...but can't call you. As I said earlier....trolling for clients...

Yeah, I guess they have to pass the fingerprint based background check? But they only have to be current residents? Shit's weird.

Delivery services

Delivery services

Does the bill mention anything about delivery services? I don't own a storefront/dispensary, but I am half of a small LLC that deals strictly in delivery to legal patients in the mountains... would my business even qualify as a dispensary? If so, what about the growing part? (I would like to mention that I live strictly off of solar energy in the mountains and it is pretty much impossible, without investing thousands of dollars into a new solar system, to grow here, and I've never been a grower. I also don't want leo at my home). Does this basically put us out of business?

well now, I don't wanna get rich, would it be possible to survive being a caregiver alone? Or will I have to get a "real job" as well? You have to remember how romantic a notion it is for a couple of old hillbilly hippies to be able to make 30..40 grand a year in a legal MJ industry..
That would be heaven to us.:greenstars: We would be happy with a rusty craphole trailer in the armpit of Colorado..wherever that is..
I get so emotional when I see those documentaries about legal states..I get really angry and cry a lot, lol.:frown:

Hi there gramma, you can rest assured that the mega clubs that are left will welch on their 'clients' and delivery crap in the end, they are a self loathing lot, capable of 'not much really'.......

That leaves us who are hanging out here in reality. Yes theres plant #/ patient restrictions, but then there always was for those who followed the rules. theres also ways to grow giant plants inside and out, and needy patients who will gladly, legally accept affordable quality meds. There can be some balance there, kind of like before all these self serving marijuana stores popped up.

I think the main thing is to keep your head straight and free of greed, good things come to those that work hard and treat others well. All these assholes who need '50k a year to live', fuck you, the jig is up. Newcomers will be shutout if they arent club affiliated. For those of you who grow crappy unflushed warehouse pot, exit stage left.

hahaha, my yonder tickets for the redrocks show just showed up......nevermind all that crap I just said.

I am hoping to be giving away some nice oz's whenever its prudent.

I also plan to pay my bills.:bump::bump:
