I decided to change my cloning style after learning about Epigenetics, mainly that stress from the environment can cause mutations in DNA and phenotypical expressions, called somaclonal variation. What's worse, if you grow out the clone with somaclonal variation and take cuttings of her for another generation its possible to pass that mutation on, called germline mutation.

Yup, I recently learned this fact from personal experience. I inherited an indica dominant mother plant that was in Soil. For some dumb reason I transplanted it into a 100% perlite hempy bucket. The stress from the transplant and new medium caused all the new growth to express sativa dominant traits and all future clones from that plant were also sativa. It was crazy.

I'm running grape kush, powerhouse and purple star. the pics are from one of my grape kush. my next room we are flipping next week is full of royal hawiian, bigbud skunk and afgoowey.

Mine is from Hill Temple Collective, and is Cinderella 99 x Deep Chunk. I have grown out a few different phenos, and the shit is crucial.

If it is the same Powerhouse then you are in for a treat.

If that's the case, then I would bet you have the Cindy leaning pheno, the Deep Chunk pheno is great but popcornish.

The Cindy pheno is my favorite. Top notch smoke.

You are killin it BTW. Stay frosty.

55 days, i was told they should go 63 days, ill probably let them go 70 days with a long flush

some of the leave tips look like they may have gotten light bleached?

Kelly if anything I'd a little nute burn, light bleaching doesn't really affect just the tips, it would look more like big splotches. But for being that far along they look great.

Rooted - looks real tasty. Bud shot???? :tiphat:

I've got an example of t.h.c.'s grapefruit. Although it is badly infested by winged root aphids, I will post a pic when I can borrow my roommate's camera a bit later.

I just finished moving. The snow was a bitch but I'm glad I did it. New journal will start soon. All of my moms seemed to have made it even though it was about 5 degrees when I moved them. I'm glad to be out of the fire zone. Goodbye Highlands Ranch!
