That's a good point. The news media just pushes my buttons I hate mainstream news. It always has the spin of its respective network and it makes it very difficult to figure out whats actually happening. They cut out some things and stretch the meanings of others to tell the story they want to tell. Not what really happened. Boycott them all I say. In fact just stop watching TV period. My mother was right, it does rot your brain. And what news network should we boycott for the balloon boy escapade?
Blame the broadcasters, but that was a piece that could have been on any of the local channels.
Where did you get that info? The guy that did the spot was calling 9News while the DEA was at his house, - they said they had a couple conversations with him until he declined to talk anymore
I'm betting the DEA boys had a hella giggle on the way back to the office.

THE PUEBLO CHIEFTAIN
A Pueblo jury took nearly eight hours Saturday to decide that a Beulah marijuana farmer was innocent of cultivating marijuana, but guilty of possessing it.
This is not an uncommon situation here. I think anything over 99 plants and your tempting fate though. It doesn't say why they were arrested. Was it for being over their plant count? It seems like they just got discovered by chance and the cops saw a little discrepancy when adding up the cards and counting the plants. I'm assuming that if the core group of 3 had prescriptions for 20 and the other seven only had 6 than that would bring their count to 102 so if he had 128 than they were a few cards shy.
If they did have enough cards with higher than normal plant counts than an MD evaluated them and wrote a prescription for extra plants. If so than who are the cops to decided what is ok and what is not? They aren't doctors. Neither is the judge. I'm assuming that if the core group of 3 had prescriptions for 20 and the other seven only had 6 than that would bring their count to 102 so if he had 128 than they were a few cards shy. It doesn't say how many plants their cards added up to.
This is what I'm talking about with the news chopping up the stories to lead people to guided false conclusions because not all of the facts are reported. We don't know what the real case argument is about here because the media source that delivered it left out weather or not they had an official plant count that covered 128 plants. Or even why they where raided in the first place.
