Kelly a really good way to rehydrate dried out buds is with a leaf or two off a live, growing plant, usually I use some lower branches off one of my mothers.. even better if you can snip the same strain.
for best flavor and smoothest smoke:
Hang the whole plant in a small closet and keep door shut and have NO fans or air circulation. My plants hang for an average of 2 sometimes 3 weeks. When the stems barely start to crack when you bend them, then it's time to trim. Trim leaves off and place everything in a large tub with the large stems still attached. Then I open the tub to let breathe for a minute or two for a a few days. Then i trim every bud off of the branch and place into tupperware for my patients and the rest in mason jars for me
Trimming wet is not ideal IMO because it forces the buds to dry too quickly
here is some blue hash plant nugs im smoking on now.
i was given a tip about re hydrating the buds (that i dried to quickly) with lemon peals.
seems to be working nicely for me, but as i mentioned before i cant really 'taste' a huge difference (i have also had 3 nose surgeries so my taste is alittle off)
i just put 2 more blue hash 'clones' (not sure i would call a plant with ~4ft of roots a clone) into my small flowering cab. hope to pull some more clones in a day or two as a few people here have asked for them. plus i want to try and improve on my last grow.
here is my other tent with my diy tubs in it.
i seemed to have a problem with nute burn at only 225ish ppm.
so i flushed them for a few days and lowered it, hopefully they are ok.

Well in terms of yield there are a lot of limiting factors, light being a major one. But if you are not doing any kind of training or anything (I like to top once or twice and let them do their thing) then you want to account for your height limitations when vegging. I think a good rule of thumb is that the plant can stretch an extra 2/3 of it's height during flower.i think that my limiting factor would be the 600w right?
i have a question about veg time that hopefully some of the pros can help with.
i would imagine that there is a point were the plants will only produce so much bud weight.
for example, im running a 600w tent, even if i veg for 6 months i will only get X amount of weight at harvest.
obviously a plant vegged for 1 week will not produce as much as a plant vegged for 6 months, so i was wondering if anyone knows the 'limit' of veg time with a 600w?
hopefully that makes sense.... lol
edit:
maybe a better question would be how long do you veg for?
do you try to fill up the grow space, or just veg for a few weeks and get an extra harvest per year?
