That should work, but be mindful of the fact that plants don't use CO2 during the dark cycle, so your only benefit will be heat and possibly some residual CO2 in the air when the lights come on. If you had your exhaust fan off for the dark cycle (timer or day/night temp controller) the CO2 would build up, as its heavier than normal air and sinks down, and ideally the plants would benefit from it during the first few minutes of lights on.
In addition, too much CO2 is bad for your plants and bad for you, so if you are trying this technique, do your best to match required BTUs with cubic feet of your grow room, and if you can, buy a CO2 meter to get an idea of how high or low your levels will be getting. You can buy a CO2 meter fairly cheap, you don't have to get a fancy controller box.
Thanks Space case. Ya, that's kinda what I was thinking to, they would get a little bit for about an hour when the lights come back on. I'll definitely be picking up a couple meters for this, like you said, just to see where the levels are at night.
Another question for you guys. Does anyone know where I can get 6-8k worth of lighting for cheap now days? I used to use an online store but it's out of business now apparently. Like I've said before, been outa the growing scene for a while and kinda lost touch on where all the deals can be found now days. Thanks ahead of time. Peace
