Hi guys. Just how flooded is the Nederland/Boulder area? I know it's one of the premiere hot-spots for cannabis, but is the "flood" exaggerated?

I heard some whispers about great stuff going away for 2800 because they just couldn't get rid of it. Exaggerated like most things or is it that "over" for growers there?

Thanks!

That's about where wholesale prices are at.

Last I heard, Boulder has over 200 dispensaries. My town of nearly identical size has 5 or 6.

To say the market is saturated would be a bit of an understatement.

Boulder has about 40-50 and I believe that includes grow ops too.

This will work out ok for those who make the licensing and have a fairly large operation... the costs to stay in business are so high the smaller shops may not be able to make it... economies of scale and all that.

Yeah, unless you have super white hot fire in your nug jars, it's gonna be kinda difficult to sell herb in Boulder/Ned. You're better off finding an area that doesn't have the same kind of supply.

As far as Dorjes comment, yes, I agree, if the quality isn't sacrificed by the scale of the op. I've only seen a couple of ops that kept the quality up high, while pumping out the quantity. Ya'll know who you are! ;) One of the best, if not THE best, grow-couples running a grow out there. SubCool and MzJill ain't got shit on GM and CG, fo SHO!!! And besides the skill and care they show with the nugz they produce, they're cool as fuck! I count my actual FRIENDS on less than my 10 fingers; G and C both got a permanent spot on dat list... 4 LYFE! :grouphug:

Big ups Colorado, keep it frosty! :tiphat:

According to this as of 1/3/2011 there were 117 legal, and up to 85 illegal companies who have "sales-tax licenses to sell the plant"

I don't have any sources, but I heard on the radio a few weeks ago there are over 300 in the County.

You can find fire for 3k easily. It does depend on the day, and the area of the state you are in... and the crowd of people you know, ( and how much they care about quality.) Your best bet to get top $ is a college town, or ski town that is packed with seasonal non residents who don't have a red card. Still a viable market in those places besides that I really think it just depends on your crowd.
