So synthetic urine? I saw some that came with some sort of hand warmer and what looked like an aquarium sticker thermometer on the outside of the bottle. Is that what you are refering to? Any certain brands I should steer clear of?

Thanks guys
Ace

I used one of these to get my last job. Just make sure the temp is right before you go in, the handwarmer thingy overwarmed my fake piss a little, so I just sat in the parking lot for 5 min waiting for it to cool.... otherwise no problems, easy to use... I forget which kit I used but it was about $40 locally.

Hello fellow Colorado growers ! Newb here finishing my first one getting ready for the next . Glad to have found this thread . I have read alot of stuff but Its nice to see some local advice ! I,m experimenting with organics in soil . Would love to see some local soil mix ideas !
I,m gonna work with FFOF and Light Warrior mixed with 25% coarse perlite with other various admendments. Subbed !

Hey king, here is the recipe I use adapted from Mr. Dank's:
for every 1.5 cf bag of soil (I've been using roots, but FFOF works also)
1.25 cups Dolomite Lime powdered
.5 cup + of FF peace of mind fruit and flower
Perlite - I just eyeball it till it feels right.

I also top dress w/ bat guano starting about week 4 2-3 times
Hope that helps, and have fun!

I'd also recommend peat moss (25% of mix). The humic acid produced balances with the dolomite lime and buffers pH perfectly for mj.

FFOF has a lot of oyster shells so I wouldn't add as much lime with that mix but I'm not sure I'd use it again because of root aphid issues and other inconsistencies that have been reported. It is also very hot by itsself, but the N levels tank instantly a month or so later...

Also, don't throw your soil out after you are done, buy a NPK and pH test kit for $20 at McGuckins and don't follow anyone's "recipe". Use the test kit and feed your soil what it needs. After your run is over mix in more lime and ferts and re-use the soil. You will get better results after the 1st use because the microbes take some time to become active. Everyone who gets rid of their dirt after the 1st use is spending way more money than they need, doing far too much work lugging dirt, and getting poorer results for all the money and effort. Also, if you reuse soil no need to spend money on myco-products, they will do nothing for a soil that is already in good health. But, I would use one of those products for the 1st use of new soil to help get it going.

Whats a good begeiners clone going around nowadays that produces well and finishes somewhat quick? My first was a sour diesel from delta 9 . Man that thing streched alot in flowering .

Yeah dorje, the roots soil is peat based I believe, and I prefer it over the FF. King, don't bother w/ clones from shops... Crack some seeds

NL#5 is the easies plant to grow I've ever seen but good NL genetics are hard to find... most I've seen around aren't good.

NL5 x Haze would be a good one too, and there are many more.

When I got clones from a disp for my first grow in years, they had mites, pm, and were mis-labeled, so gotta agree with cob and recommend staying away unless you really know the people well and trust them. Luckily, the mislabeled plant I got was really great, def. a keeper, but I've heard of people getting bunk clones, like ditchweed before too....

I,m not set up to turn around seeds fast .I only have one small space. I like the quicker turn around with clones. I have a bunch of seeds got some burmese ,kc-39 and some that was called Pepes poison never seen this strain anywhere else . The product come from Altitude Organics south . (pepes that is)

Right on Dorji . I know some growers in Co Springs that are reputable for bug free clones . I wont buy from an dispensary other than Delta 9 so far . Someone recommended them to me for clones and that is where my first one come from.

I got about 4-5 weeks flower time left . I could start seed but i dont have anywhere set up to vegg them out .I,m in a 1 chamber homemade grow enclosure in my garage. I,d like to set up a cloning station and a small vegg area but its not my house and I,m not sure how far to push my boundaries .

ha! about anything else. i would stay away from the chems/ogs/diesels. way more difficult to grow. i'd say track down an indica/afghani. short, slow growth, dense nugs, quicker. master kush, hindu kush, cherry lime ak, ak, blue dream (not indica, but easy to grow),maui, lambsbreath....
