Hey all, going to begin constructing a new room. What do you all use to adhere panda to walls? I have one un-finished wall, one finished, and a concrete wall. I was thinking about using industrial strength velcro. What do you think? Want to make this room some what easy to break down just incase we move.

Ace
Can't go wrong with duct tape.

Have a good 4th everyone, and stay safe!

First off, Happy 4th to all! Have a great day, have fun, and be safe!

Ace, one solution I've found works well is to make new temporary walls, out of 2x2's, making them slightly taller than the overall height from floor to ceiling (1/8-1/4" for hard floors/ceilings, such as hardwood and concrete, 3/8-1/2" for carpeted floors), so you can "wedge" them between the floor and ceiling. Attach them to the structure (walls, ceilings) with a couple of long screws, predrilling any places you're going thru the 2x2's with screws to prevent the 2x2's from splitting. Use a stud finder to find studs under finished/sheetrocked walls to attach to. Construction adhesive (PL500) works good to attach temp walls to concrete, make sure to let it set and cure before proceeding. Then staple the panda to the new 2x2 walls, reinforcing any area you plan on stapling with duct tape. :artist:

You can even make ceiling joists out of 2x4's or 2x6's, supporting them with the temporary walls. I've supported lights, fans, heavy carbon filters, etc on my temp walls and ceilings.

This is much, MUCH cheaper than a growtent, adaptable to any size spot, easy to tear down, the benefits go on and on! :tiphat:

Another thing, use pond liner for the floors, to prevent water damage. CO landlords don't actively discriminate against growers as much as in CA, by being respectful of others property we prevent a bad name being made for growers. I own, but have set up numerous spots in rented places, so I speak from experience. Karma folks, karma. :ying:

Hope that helps Ace!

Okay I was just gonna give a quick 4th of July shoutout to all my Colorado brothers and sisters, but warm fuzzies are taking over and I have to ramble for a minute.

I love this country. I could say "warts and all", but as long as humans are in charge there will be ugly to contrast our beauty and stupidity to offset our brilliance, so it sort of goes without saying. I don't just pay homage to this land because I was squeezed out of a birth canal over this piece of dirt as opposed to that piece of dirt. This country is special.

And nowhere is this nation's wonderful character more evident to me than in Coloradans.

Yes, I'm an outsider, and yes I spent a lot of years outside the U.S. in forming this opinion, and I can't see me staying away from Colorado for long under even the most exigent of circumstances. Coloradans are an intelligent, free-thinking, rough-hewn, hard-working mix of liberty-loving men and women who refuse to be pigeon-holed, don't shrink from a challenge, and don't understand the word "can't."

So to all the people in my adopted home state that have made it the place that I love so dearly, my hat's off to you. And Happy Birthday, America!

oh?
why would someone say that when he gave us natives a real nice compliment?
Any way. flower lovers, I just came across two of our states beautiful and extremely small orchid species. Calypso Bulbosa and Piperia unalascensis. I have some pics of the calypso ill post later. It was a real find for me. I have been looking for some of our states orchids for quite some time. It was the fireworks for my weekend.
be easy everyone.

Loophole vs. bottomless pit?

Loophole vs. bottomless pit?

Why not make hash? take all of your bud and make hash with it. 2 oz. of hash is CRAZY! some dispensaries charge $60 a gram for good hash. That's around $1600 an oz. You could make tinctures or oil or whatever. I'm just saying if you concentrate it they don't say what kind of form the "usable medicine" has to be in. 2 oz. of buds is not that much but 2 oz. of hash or oil is a lot more medicine for the limit your under.

If that works out to be true and legal, then I am terrified...would it not stand to reason that a pound of canna butter is eight times the legal quantity one can possess? The doctor recommended that I use edibles, rather than smoke medicine, so am I in danger of going to prison for life...or worse, because I bake my meds, rather than smoke them? I think it's time to make a list of questions and visit with a snake.....er...um...LAWYER!!!

Peace and healthy green hugs,

I was just "playing the role" that the trolls have been here on this thread. Wasn't trying to start shit. I'm not a native myself, but I have close relatives that are natives, and darn good growers too!
