thanks man! i was reading your other post about the ear wax and i agree some strains are more "greasy" than others.

Here is the Bluewidow at 2 weeks.. I have 0 expectations for this plant. it was a freebie like the lemon skunk.

Hey, trip! One more post and you've hit 1,000!!!!

And funk, if "greasy" strains are better for earwax, I need to give you some of the trim from this White Widow freak of nature that I have...after I touch the buds, I have like a greasy film on my fingers like I just applied some Oil of Olay moisturizer!

Usually the greasier the better..All the Og's Chems Diesels and their hybrids make fire wax.. Flo makes really nice wax as well..

Got a ton of Flo trim also....but Flo to me is more "sticky" than "greasy"...I find most strains, including the chems and diesels to be on the "sticky" side. I am talking about how my hand feels after touching FRESH flowers, not dried. Only a few strains I've come across have the greasiness without the stickiness...

We're receiving a visitor later this afternoon who, straight up, claims to be "the best grower in the state" (meaning Colorado).

Being a little older than the average Joe here, I interpret this as hubris and general silliness. But people have to make these claims to establish their own credibility.

The problem is that now I'm going to spend the 1/2 hour or so making mental notes of everything this person says or does and judging them critically. I mean, how can I not?

It's not every day that you meet "the best grower in the state".

Fire wax....any wax from a plant seems to have oodles of pot-ential.....but for what? Are you saying it can be used in some way? My baby Papayas are supposed to grow up to be greasy, but I've never heard that description before.

Please enlighten me, experienced one. Please be my sensei.

Peace and healthy green hugs,

Maybe the OTHER best grower in the state was out of state when he said that! Seriously, it would be imature to think you were the best at anything, all the time..... look at Tiger Woods! Used to be a little kid, then he grew up and for awhile was the best golfer in the world, but now he's not. Maybe he will be again... it's so subjective!

Wax is a term for highly refined butane oil, a process where they wash buds with butane and the butane disolves the resins, trichromes and turpines, and then the butane is collected on a suface and heated to evaporate the butane, leaving a yellow wax like substance that is highly concentrated THC. Also known as Budder.... no matter what they call it, THE SHIT IS POTENT!

Now you're talking! If my caregiver were able to provide me with those services, he would be more valuable to me than my doctors....provided, he had knowledge on medical marijuana strains and how they ease symptoms......something of a holistic approach would beat the modern medical approach and put some docs out of business!

Now, we are getting close to the idea of specialized dispensaries....which would more than likely supply patients with a certain disease. Bravo!

Not sure which specimen you are referring to. I have, under the screen, Barneys Farm LSD, and a California Skunk. The 3 smaller ones consist of Chiesel, White Widow, and Alaskan Ice.

FUNK- I used this screen before on my last run and it worked out ok. Screens are 29''x14'', and I have been weaving the branches in and out just fine. These strains dont seem to mind the abuse. My new room I will probably put the screens 15 or so inches above the top of the bucket, because I will have more headroom in the new closet. The screen is a plastic poultry netting from casa depot.

Soccer netting seems to big for this application, appreciate the help though!

Ok, some crazy shit just happened to me that has never happened before.

Got an 1/8th from a dispensary yesterday and last night while smoking a bowl, the weed just conbusted and ejected all the weed from the bowl. I thought it was lighter. But then this morning I'm smoking a j and the tip of that sparks and catches on fire for a second. And I used a different lighter than last night.

Is this due to them not flushing all the nutrients from the weed?

I can't wait for the photos, Ma'am! This political BS has me absolutely pulling my hair out. Before I got sick, I could have coped with the mumbo-jumbo and ego trips, but these days, I get frazzled by picking out a pair of socks at times.

Thanks for being a mellow earth-dweller, Kelly.
