Holy cow. That is one awesome looking bud. :yummy: Wow..you guys are def going the right way with your company by looking into Colombian genetics. I have never seen bud that looked like that ever in my life. What's the buzz like with Luiz's Colo Black? What's the smell and taste like? Is it 100% sativa? It looks nearly all purple. And I think that most people love purp.

Yeah darkgreen, its 100% colombian coastal mountain sativa probably from the manizales area at least I'd hope its a 100% sativa taking 10 months minimum to produce a mature bud. As far as buzz its supposed to be somewhere in between a highland gold and a lowland red half sedative half psychedelic and very strong. I plan to work on a flo hybrid to bring the flower time down increase the flavor and keep the purple but also I'd like to use this to create a perpetual harvest plant that could possibly go on for years.

Blazned the deep south is a great place to grow brazilian sativa sincee they both can be hot and humid. None of the commercial breeders make seeds for the southeastern u.s hopefully we can change that, eh? We would be selling stuff right now but our stocks are low and what we do have has low germination rates. The mothers for breeding the last generation are gone so we have to use the stock we have left to select new mothers. Sorry its taking so long we want this stuff to get out just as badly as you do, trust me.

thanks for responding zamalito. what kind of time frame are you guys looking at on redriders genetics and on your colomian black? all I heard about in the early eighties as a teenager was how good the colombian gold was. By the time I got heavy into smoking, indica dominant strains were all the rage, but the first couple of years all we could get around here was kick ass very red haired sativas. not the rusty red, but RED. My understanding was that it was all grown locally here in the national forrest by some old hippies. I guess along with some Da Lat, the colombians would be my holy grail of weed. Looking very forward to your releases. Please don't make them overly expensive as I would not be able to get any.

As soon as we have the redrider lines in hand we'll start them asap. We will always keep our seeds affordable and won't have anything that costs over $45 per ten seeds and unstabilized lines will be $15-30. We'd like to become a primary source of breeding stock for small breeders and I'd like to encourage larger quantity purchases so we may do something like 100qty packs of seeds for 250 for pure lines and obviously less for hybrids. Don't quote me on the prices but they will be affordable I promise. We get the sun for free and much of our breeding stock has been donated by kind people. It would be seriously wrong for us to charge a lot.
