Timsmcm, of course it is redrider's decision but I don't believe he will be doing any commercial breeding or seed selling himself. He's been very generous to make his stocks available to us. We then plan on making selections from his seeds. We're very excited about working with what redrider has found from his years in colombia.

Nexus, though I plan to be absolutely brutal with my selections the plants that end up being selected will receive every drop of love imagineable.

Jojajico, the bsc santa marta gold is very good indoors though not very lsd-like but still psychedelic in a more happy way. The manga rosa also grows well indoors. The hothouse flowers haze is what I'd recommend for a more lsd like experience and is available right now.

Red, we can't wait to either. You really are going to be helping us a lot.

for me "lumbo" was the very 1'st "great" pot that i ever experienced ... i grew up on imported colombian pot (which took over the market from all the weak mexican & jamaican herb that was commonplace) & on the east coast it was around commercially by the kilo in the mid to late 1970's ... the colers ranged from golden brown to redish hues & the smoking effect was extremely strong & almost narcotic like in character & not what peolpe now-a-days would associate with sativa .... the taste was earthy and delicious...

zamilto .. no doubt you will give all the love needed & i admire you for commiting your time and resources to do a service ... if you can bring back that herb to life & we can grow it? shit man! :joint: :yummy:

I have never smoked Colombian Gold, but some years back i was able to smoke on some Golden Haze which is Colombian Gold x Haze. To this date it ranks up on my top 2 list. This strain will actually give you a very mild trip, it is very visual. A new smoker would probably loose it in the paranoia lol.

edit: crops are looking very good guys.

Yeh we are very excited about that potential too in the F1 hybrid of Colombian Gold crossed male Hazes. The Haze is to me very Colombian dominant and this almost the perfect match for her as the pure Haze for sure combines some of the best Colmbians of the past. Got some just germed to see..

Early days yet, expect a smoke report in a year or so, lol

Colombian Gold x Pure Haze baby...

LOL. definitely be sure to give us a smoke report, I'm so excited. I will be following this one. I would have to agree the cross really does go perfect with each other.

I really can't send seeds out of Colombia to everyone so I am sending BSC all my pure Colombians (and maybe some of my hybrids) so they can work with them and distribute them to all. I hope BSC has my seeds to "work" with within a month. I am just a personal grower and the seeds I am sending BSC are from rare local domestic Colombian that was able to obtain here. However I think BSC has a very nice pure SMG in stock now but you would have to check with them.

What is that one Red? Nice plant with a lovely leaf shape, is it hybrid?
Hola HHF, I know who you really are now! The Sativa Santa! The plant in the above pic is the "Coastal Green" Colombian originally from the Santa Marta region, then grown out by me in the central Andina region @ 2,700m altitude. Grown out up here it turns purple so I guess Coastal Green is inappropriate.
Shes pure Colombian and one of the mothers of my ColombianXAfghan cross.

Con mucho gusto my friend, it's a half hour flight to the coast for me and I am ready to go any time you can. Santa Marta has many interesting offerings.

I'd love to pay you a visit also, redrider. Any money I can spare for traveling should be spent on moving though.

Yes, I'm half of bsc but there's no need to apologize unless redrider wants an apology but I doubt that. I'm putting together a list of people to update when the need arises. If you wish to send me an email via pm I can do that also. If anyone else wishes to send me an email for updates I'll return the favor with some pics of colombian black and our new electric skunk hybrid.

HHF i read the description of your haze and it sounds like a real labor of love. you mention that it comes partly from colombian strains but i wonder if you could speculate more about its origins, and the sources you were able to obtain. also your impression of the other hazes commonly available that you've seen. finally: why haze instead of just crossing colombians kerala oaxacan cambodian etc all over again from landrace genetics?

edit: i have little experience with landrace sativas and 0 experience with haze, so please enlighten me to the major differences between haze and colombian landrace or any of its other progenitors.

My friend I hope soon your growing and smoking these fine Sativa. Colombian really is what you look for in the cannabis experience. The look the smell and taste really comes though along with a high that just makes you want more. I like an effect that is highly euphoric to the point of uncontrollable outburst of laughter and the SMG really shines in this category.

That sounds so great to me.I'm almost giddy at the prospect of growing these out.Really!
