Was out digging holes this morning and had a little scare While digging a hole I heard an ATV comming. I was in a cornfield drainage area that I have planted in before and these two kids from up the road[like 4 miles] come flying by doing like 60mph. I was very hiden and they were going so fast I doubt they even saw me Still I think that I will stray away from that area anyway just in case Still managed to get 8 more in the ground in different places. So much work,so little time.............
I hate scary times like that. I've had a couple close calls myself. Very glad I haven't had to go through the aquard moment of being caught. Good reason to always be alert and listening when at a spot.
Your natural soil dirt looks about identical to whats around here. They dont call you CKayill, i mean Clayill for nothing.
Not sure what ur latitude is, but tomorrow night is supposed to dip down pretty low around here. You may think about covering up some of your babies if your forcasted for cold weather.
do you remember my thread on OG"bad season for wamen"?
anyways...I risked to be caught in the spot a few times by some people hiking...
and at the end..the cops found my17 plants ...
I was chillin at Venice when I read it on the newspaper...
Now that's a scare. In some places, the police get remote cameras to try and get a pic of the grower, so come late summer/early fall, its not a bad idea to garden at night. But then you dont get to see your girls very well, to check them for insects, diseases, deficiencies, etc.
Yea pipeline, I have seen those camera the cops use. I agree it is safer to check the plants at night.[or do like WAMEN does ] Those cameras would have to use a flash at night, Right. If I ever see a flash go of around me that thing will be ripped from the tree faster than shit. Just in case thats what the George W. mask from halloween is for. I have too many out to try and cover them. They will have to ride it out for better or worse. This is the reason to have alot of backup plants. Damn WAMEN those are some nice plants. That would be fuckin crazy to read about your grow being busted while out of town. I dont think I would have been crazy about comming home for a few weeks. My plants are usually no longer than 5-10min from my house by ATV. There are exceptions to the rule though as it is always nice to branch out.
our good shroom weather was just coming up, and now they say a low close to 35,I put my best plants out first, but the low area there planted in will at least keep them out of the wind.
If those guys on the atv where doing 60,they where probly looking straight ahead for ruts and holes, i would be.
Its still early enough for them to revert to flowering ,mine do it even in early may.
I hope your ladys are okay. Mine would have been in the ground, if high water hadn't kept me from putting them out last weekend.
I suggest throwing some native soil on top of your potting soil at your holes. It will cover that fresh bl;ack dirt until the plants get bushy enough to cover it.
I just got back from checking the plants and everything seems to be fine. I am going to wait till tommoro to put anymore seedlings in the ground to give the weather a chance to warm up. I hope that the chance of frost has past and warm weather will be here to stay. I still have close to 50 left to put in the ground so I still have plenty of work ahead of me. Captain, I had just planted most of those plants and did cover the soil better after the pics were taken. That is a dead give-away of someone tending to the plants and to LEO means there is a good chance the grower will return.
Yea senseless, That is the plan. I have a couple of 40x80 barns that have lofts. Great airflow and no light, Stems snap in 4 days. I dont quite know what I am going to do about trimming. There are only 4 people who I would trust to help me with trimming and 2 of those are my parents. I will not be harvesting all of these at once which should help spread the load out. I need to just buy a trimming machine!
