That is also true Toker. Where I live it gets very hot and last summer was very dry. I was not able to get plants out till close to the end of june and still ended up with head height or better plants. I just dont much care for the dry part cause that means hauling water which is way down on my list of fun things to do. Thanks for droppin by guys.

It looks like you're ready for the season Clay. I'm hoping the season isn't as dry as last year, I hated hauling water.

I agree, the more sun, the bigger and better the buds get! Planting them far enough apart for maximum exposure is a common mistake, I find myself repeating year after year.

Maybe this season I'll get it right!

good luck

Hey guys. Things are going smoothly here. Been putting plants in the ground the last few days and its time for a rest. :woohoo: I have been putting rooted Bubba clones in cups to toughin up before they go outside. I think that the soil I have the moms in is alittle to hot. The OG and UC moms have burnt leaves but the bubba is doing fine. :chin:

WAMEN: Majority of the seedlings in the red cups are Cozmos. I have older ones but they have already been pu in the ground.

Captain: Sorry that your planting got delayed by floods but its just another week under your care which is 10x better than the outdoors. A couple of the spots that I was going to plant in were too wet but they should be fine in a few days.

Mole: I will be employing a small fleet if all things go right. Nothing a few buddies and a case of beer cant handle. :bat:

Bravado!: Thanks for stopping by. Should only get better.

Senseless: I usually end up with about 60% female ratio. This always changes from year to year with new seeds. I am in the Mid-west and would not have it any other way.

Went for a walk this morning to check all the plants but my stoned ass forgot to change the battery :pointlaug One got dug up by a coon but the rest are growing very well. Topped alot of them today on the 5 node so as to have some nice wide plants. I normally let my plants grow untopped but I will be changing that this year. Found some nice Mushrooms as well. Gonna fry them up for lunch.
From this:

To this in five days:

Seedlings left to be planted

Shrooms :yummy:

You lucky bastid, you found yourself a shitload of morels! The most delicious mushrooms on the planet. I used to collect those with my dad when I was a kid.

Yes, I am lucky that morels grow pretty abundant on my property. I like them but only a couple times a year. I also give them to alot of people who live around me since they always have trouble finding them. What can I say, I am always in the woods so I often stumble on them by accident. Just got back from the garden store with 240lbs of topsoil and 240lbs of manure and humus. This should give the clones and the UC a good home to get very large. Well I have some planting to do.....

Oh, Does anyone know if the days are long enough to leave clones and moms outside without them flowering? I need to get some clones out so I can make room for more.

how do you prepare you holes in the ground. do you ever add dolmite lime to adjust ph or is your soil good in that area?

I dont really do anything special. I just dig the hole, throw in some topsoil as well as manure, and humus. I normally run out of soil and end up sticking them straight in the ground by the end of planting. I live in the corn belt so the soil is pretty rich here plus I live in a major river bottom.
