Uhm....

The pink grapefruit pheno is the rarest and most sought after pheno of C99, and has been ever since Mr. Soul created it.

I've read where some growers speculate that the whole Grapefruit line
(Grapefruit as in the line used by Breeder Steve at SOL or say RM's Grapefruit)
originated from a select NL female. Personally none of the NL I've ever had
exhibited grapefruit like tastes and smells but anythings possible I suppose.
It's a wild theory but maybe this C99 pheno gets it from the NL. What type
of growth structure does this plant exhibit??

I've never grown out Northern Lights, so I don't know if its similar in structure.

A friend of mine did a little trade and I got a few C-99 seeds out of it, but they all got damaged in the mail. I planted them anyway. Only 2 came up, and the runt died. BUT that last one was delightful! Pink grapefruit!!!! You don't even need to brush against her to smell it. I am QUITE satisfied by the smoke. Sadly, I am almost through the last of her. The good news is I have 3 nice clones of her beginning their 3rd week of flowering. I guess I'll just have to tough it our for another month or so. (big sigh!) (note to self- make more clones!)

Looks like a nice plant. I've seen C99 stouter and bushier and then most of the F2's I've done have came out stretchier with thinner stocks and branching. A buddy of mine from FLA sent me some of his C99 that he had BX'ed to a select mom (outta 20 BG originals) twice and it was by far the most indica dom C99 I've personally done. No grapefruit though
this stuff had a real sweet floral smell kinda like honeysuckle. I never believed
C99 to be true breeding. I saw slight variation in my original stock beans.
Like I said, was just a wild guess based on second hand info but when the ?
was asked as to how you get GF from Haze x Skunk x NL, that whole thing
came to mind. All the NL I've grown has had serious indica dom growth structure. But you'd have to expect it from cindy too with not only NL influence but a touch of shiva as well. That cut sure is a beauty though, congrats on obtaining that one. Very interested in this cross with the SD.

Damn would I like to have a taste of that, I think I missed it, the only C99 I smoked there was Foz's and of course , Grey Area's Cannalope Haze lmao... Looks gorgeous...

Fantastic plants folks.................I think this strain is one of the alltime greats.......top 5 all time in my book, easy........not too many weaknesses with her........yield perhaps.......i agree about the stretchyness of the f2's.....they throw golf balls......and the f1's throw more typical colas on a more structured and stout indy chassis.......i had a BGC99 cut from Abusive once (before i knew anything he's runnin is proven gold).....never rooted her because i had grown C99 before, and was cramped for space back then.......same with the Schrom.....doh!.....i've found C99 is one of the few strains that impart mad amounts of taste (albiet different flavors) to almost every representation from seed......regardless of the pheno's other qualities.....i wonder if a person could cross some gno3f2's and have a decent chance of finding one on par with the GF or Pineapple?.........thx for the great show.............nf

That pic won the pic of the year here, the smell and taste is 100% over-ripe pineapple...oh did I mention about the nice 50 day flowering time? Sorry for hijacking but it's all about Cindy so...
