Cinderella 99 The Come Back

Thats what I thought too. I think more recently before BOG passed RIP it looks like he may have added the bog bubble probably as he no longer had the c99 or swt3 in pure form. shn still has some listed as this 3 way...yours would most likely be from the original sweet cindy.
Finally chopped the current round of tester moms and they were chocked full of seed. Much more than I had hoped but oh well wanted to make the best effort I could to have pollen from all males and some dropped later than the others.
A very interesting find! The pic I have posted recently of the Princess looking plant has a sister and although I am awaiting a nice dry test I can report it is a disctinctly sharp sweetness. The Princess looking one is more of a raw metal finishing with light smell but nice powerful smoke. I suspect this sweet one may be the final key to this very long project. It didnt come out as photogenic due to the seeds but the smells are delightful and the scent coming from the tent was total bliss!

I know I have sounded pretty hype a few times, but what I am about get into is regarding probably the greatest thing I've encountered in 20 years regarding Cindy.
I'm just gonna let that sit right there and let it marinate for a little bit first.
A hell of a Cindy has been found. I am not talking about oh well hey guys this is a pretty close thing going on. I am talking about the stankest.....sticky.....sweet.....sharp.....fruit punch stank! Way different and its like a ripe ass stank. Smells absolutely fantastic like if there was a fruit punch cotton candy sort of thing with a tiny bit of added funk in the background, just enough.
Thats not all either. I been getting a daily 3D full 186K movie reel with that weird occular feeling from back in the day like when I first ever got high feeling. Its a real day brightener and stoked feeling. Don't want to stop moving and get shit done and then do some more.
She was the sister of this metal one. I am figuring that this pheno could be one in a pack at this point. Not sure on the previous breeding but think it was from a single selected female. All this fantastic smell and taste, even from near fully seeded by 3 selected studs from the same generation. The metal sis was also hit with the same dudes. Been testing her out good and proper for a little bit. The eye thing really gets me too.
Some things come full circle. Ups and downs. Highs and lows. A hell of a ride?

Sounds real nice. Reminds me of a cut of ak47 I used to have really motivated me got me up off the couch and actually made everything seems visually brighter like when outside like someone turned the dial up on the sun.. she would just brighten your day in general as well .i miss that girl..

Seems your dedication has paid off and I’m stoked to be along for the ride. I’m deep into the JH/Princess/C99 drama due to a sib mentioning JH as the best smoke she ever experienced. I’ve been planning a C99 run indoors and found this thread fairly recently. I got intrigued by the mention of Brothers Grimm C99 and especially “the comeback”……
I’ve not actively grown for 30 years but always strongly supported the legal side and loved growing cannabis.
So if this new journey is cosmic chaos or coincidence, I’m not sure yet.
I AM glad to have found others devoted to C99. I heard about her on another site last year and filed the info away due to the JH/sibling connection. I was deep into my first grow outdoors (GDP) and got a little carried away.
Thanks to @LostTribe for the feedback on the current seed supply for C99. I had some of BG latest C99 ready to pop but after reading this discussion decided to try to find some other C99 seeds. I have had great success with TRSC heirlooms/landrace seed so when I saw Angus name here, I was reassured. I am hoping the beans I got from Kwik Seeds are gonna produce at least a couple nice pheno’s. I am trying hard to go easy and right now it’s gonna be a side by side BG versus KS C99. Not gonna be a grow journal or any pictures etc
For me the hard part is not exceeding the limits of reality (tent size, lighting, air flow) and that includes remembering time spent in trim jail last fall.
I’m gonna run just 4 C99; 2 BG and 2 KS. I’ve gotta keep thinking of the long game. If any of these 4 are great, I’ll keep them around until next grow. I’ve got 3 GDP bonsai right now still in solo cups due to logistics (since February 2021) I’m not crazy about this but it works. It’s a pita really but allows me to keep something great going and keeps the wife happy.

while i never grew c99, always wondering how a sativa, which i read it is, can flower for 45/50 days, and be ass-kicking... seems its way short time for flowering, espec for a sativa... even for an indica...

Well it's a sativa/indica hybrid. Skunk/NL/Haze. Current Bros Grimm description says 56-65 days flowering time.

I give you The Punch! Please keep in mind she's completely filled with seed otherwise she'd look more like the ones above. Took er way long too as you can see from the gold and dying calyes in spots. Maybe 65 days normally low 50 to 58 I'd say. Now that I've started in on the tops she's more of a Singapore Sling with a shot of Mezcal on the side! Racy, naughty and edgy all come to mind depending on the situation. The metal is not this way and is more trippy and not nearly as speedy. A bit too much of the Punch and you might regret it for a little bit. Anxiety I'd say but the metal doesnt do that either. Smells sweet and grows a lighter shade of neon and more slender structure than the fat metal. Both are special and I agree they don't look very special from these fully seeds nugs.

The trichomes on all of them shout “special” in MHO. I still like to see em (pictures) cause they give me hope and something to aim for. Congrats

Ya might want to take a sheet of clean white satin typing paper, and do a little very fine screening on those girls with the pods when dry.
Though they might not be as flavorful as without beans, the trichomes can be a real treat. I've noticed that those with beans make more.
Sandwich it in between something nice on top and bottom, and yer head should really spin! Set it aside and use it for up to a week. Nice!

I'd like to report that I have 2 TRSC Cinderella's in mid bloom. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this offering.
Growth, smell and overall appearance do not resemble Cinderella 99. Both are nearly identical with single stalk growth and a mostly indica appearance with much wider leaflets and a very slight orangish smell. They are at about 4.5 weeks and no where near where I'd expect.
I had high hopes for these but it is what it is. I tossed the fat cindy but might pull some beanage out of the metal which kind of has a little baby poo in there as the cure has progressed and its potent. Got plenty out of the Fruit Punch! The Punch is equally as strong.
