When it rains, go out and grab the plant by the base of the trunk and shake the shit out of it. In heavy, heavy rains I do it while it's raining and after. Has always worked good for me, and helps to prevent mold.

Or if the plant is in the shade for the first few morning hours, go and shake the dew off from it.

that's what i have been doing when i can. i did this this morning on all the plants. they all was holding water. i don't think there is anything else i can do. thankfully the sour only has a couple more weeks by the looks of it.i hope this rain pattern moves out so they get a chance to get a good ripening time.

thanks for the input brother

Ok youve done it flboy. Youve resparked the inner gorilla grower fire in me and Im gonna try to go big next year. Paranoia has doused those flames for a few years but no more. Next year is gonna be long flowering sativas grown in the great outdoors.

as long as your safe brother go for it. it took me awhile to get past the paranoia and still get a touch of it when i approach the cherry being so huge but i guess that's to be expected LOL

They look absolutely horrible! You need to cut them down as soon as you're done and give them to me! For everyone's safety!

How big are they now flboy?

B

blue_tick

LOL i'll get to cutting them then. you want them wet or dry hahaha

the cherry is around 13' at the peaks but the average on the rest of the tops are 8' i guess.

Really close now another month maybe? I got some Kahuna Bud x Cherry Bomb freebies so looking at all the CB stuff. I have not heard anyone say the CB is psychedelic but old Maui Wowie sure was. Hawaiian grown is different too though.

This is the closest to guerrilla growing that I and many others will have. In the closet here. Tried it many years back so I know the excitement that goes with it.

Were those 100 gallon pots for the CB? Anyways you got some monsters going. Hope you love the smoke, everyone says this is a kind or happy high with the CB.

Glad to hear your dog has recovered. Plants are looking awesome.
As usual this time of year I watch you southern boys killing it and wonder why I live so far North.
Hopefully the weather holds till the end. But they seem to be standing up nicely to the rain.

Peace GG

thanks brother. the pooch is back to good health man. i hope the rain holds off. it is hard for the plants to deal with then on top it off the humidity is off the hook to. it takes a good strain to deal with it for sure.

i used to live in the north country but not as far as you and i can honestly say the only thing i miss is the hunting. but i do go back for deer season only.

flboy, beautiful Cherry Bomb. You must be in a sweet spot in the USA for outdoor growing.

First pictures I've seen that resemble the 1974 Maui Wowie I grew for a couple years in mid-1970's. IMO, your Cherry Bomb phenotype is Mexican Sativa dominate. Considering you started growing her sideways those are impressive flowers. You'll be flying high for a long, long time.

I read that Mr. Greengenes speculated about Thai genetics in Muai Wowie, but your female looks Mexican dominate to me. Most Cherry Bomb pictures from the web look indica dominate. I'm growing landrace Copalita Oaxacan, which has both Mexican Sativa NLD dominate, Thai dominate pheno-types. The flowering structure of the Mexican is far superior to the flowering structure of Thai, especially for outdoor USA grows.

Now if you guys, could just implement Colorado's cannabis laws...............

Cheers!
